Everything was so good. Starting from the peppered shrimp, to the jerk chicken, curry chicken and snapper fish. The portions were really good and the service was exceptional. Everything tasted delicious. If you like a good blend of flavour bursting this is the place for you. 100% recommend!

I have had take out from this restaurant once before and it was good. However today I ordered fried chicken and pepper shrimp and was very disappointed. This was the worst Jamaican meal" I have had from a restaurant in the Niagara region. My chicken was burnt and salty. The peppered shrimp was not anything close to Jamaican styled peppered shrimp. Sorry to say but I don't think I will be ordering here again."

Had late lunch with my family here on a weekday. The decor and the ambience was very homely and welcoming. We had the Curry Coconut Saca with rice, it was simply outstanding and so flavourful. I highly commend the cook who prepared the dish for taking us through the journey of Jamaican gastronomy. The kids grilled cheese was really good as well. I would also like to give a special mention our server Samara who was very caring and seem proud to be working there, she’s a great asset. Highly impressed with the overall experience, we will surely be back.

This was my first time at the Gibbos Niagara location and let me say, it was such a feel good experience! The music, the bright colours and the menu options all bring this place together.I was tended to by the staff the entire time. Greeted promptly, seated and enjoyed my chat with my server.As you can see from the photo, I ordered the Shrimp Rasta Pasta and it did not disappoint. I've had Rasta pasta at other places and they typically add too much coconut milk, but I love the flavour and how it was made at gibbos. Not too creamy at allI'll definitely be back to test out more meals on the menu. I'm so glad this location is here it really brings a good blend of food, culture and vibes!

First time visiting this restaurant. Loved it! Not what most Jamaicans would expect walking in, but my husband and I enjoyed the country music. For me, every country song tells a story. Some Bob Marley tunes would be a plus, in combination with the country vibes. Add some Jazz and we have a good mix. Let's not forget R&B. Considering this was a pub before it makes sense to keep a little bit of the old, combined with the new. The staff is very friendly, and welcoming. First impressions make a big difference. The food wasexceptional! We will go back again. Love the phone booth entrance. Gives therestaurant appeal.Jerk chicken meal, and pepper shrimp appetizer and side of rice was delicious. The appetizer was a meal. I honestly expected to get only 4 shrimps, but this was not the case, as in many restaurants these days. Great evening! It was chilling. Country music is alright. Add some reggae and it's authentic Jamaican vibes. Change is good.

Quite a nice spot. Easy to find with ample free parking. Friendly wait staff and a nice big U shaped bar along with a outdoor patio.Had the ackee and saltfish... Quite enjoyable. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in neighborhood....

I bought food at the niagra location and they barely gave what i paid for…food was mediocre and rushed..tasted a good 4/10 and i am being very humble when i say this, save your money and go get something else it is not worth it or the wait

We agree with Jordan Gayle. Customer service was very poor. I asked a question about the food and never got an answer. We waited almost an hour for 2 meals. The waitress didn’t even check in with us or let us know what was going on. My husband had the Jerk Pork and it tasted like cardboard. The rice and peas was undercooked and I counted about 6 peas. It didn’t taste anything like West Indian rice and peas. It seems like it was missing the coconut milk. Our son had his favourite dish, Ox Tail and didn’t like it all. He couldn’t even eat half of it. We would never recommend this place.
