Hi, I want to let you know that I had a great experience with your programme and am very appreciative of all your assistance in helping me get a job.

Gateway has been an amazing resource and support for my 25 year old son and our family. Their facilitators provided so much helpful information for finding and keeping a job for him. Ricardo and Jae were both so kind and encouraging and they supported our son throughout all the process of writing an effective resume, practicing interviewing skills, filling out job applications and communicating with employers. Gateway also accommodated for the fact that our family resides outside of Calgary and they came out to Cochrane for coaching and mentoring appointments with our son. We cannot say enough how grateful we are for Gateway and its excellent staff. Thank you, Gateway!!!

Gateway has been such a phenomenal service for me! With their help I was able to finish my secondary schooling and transition into post secondary. I would recommend them to anyone who needs career or schooling support!

I just wanted to say you guys really help me find a job I was unemployed for about three years until I met your company and you guys help me find a job. I am very grateful for that. Thank you for all your guises support and thank you for Ricardo pacifically for helping me catch up with my résumé helping me find a job I would love if you keep on helping people like me. Gateway has been a very wonderful experience. When I was enrolled here I got lots of support from the program to accommodate my needs and because of this, within a month I already had companies calling me asking if I wanted a job and now I landed a job I truly absolutely love. This is an excellent program for learning new skills, making friends, and just educating yourself on yourself, I think I learned a lot about myself from this experience. I would definitely recommend this program if you are having trouble finding work. I recommend this program over all the other programs. For new people, do not make the mistake of thinking they are going to do everything for you and get you a job immediately. You must be patient and communicate with your helpers your needs/wants while upholding your end of the deal. If you follow their advice and have clear communication, you will have a better chance at finding work. Special shoutout to Ashton, Courtney, Zehra, and Ricardo you guys are awesome and thank you for the help!

Gateway has been a great help to me. They have workshops to help you as well as working with you in Zoom calls to fix your resume, find employment and even temporary employment while you try to find something more suitable. They will help you in person as well and they are very supportive and want to do the best they can to help you. Thanks Gateway!

Gateway Association helped me find my first job in Canada. I was doing job search on my own and I was not getting nothing from it. I contacted Gateway Association, Zehra did my initial intake, then introduced me to a Career and Inclusion Consultant (Ricardo). We did some career assessment, career planning and we came out with my 3 top choices of employment which aligned with my strengths and skills. He reviewed my resume, created a new one and taught me how to do online job search online. Also, I attended all the workshops that were hosted by Gateway which helped me a lot with my job search. Then, I was introduced to a Workplace Inclusion Strategist (WIS), his name is Jae. Jae did my cover letter and helped me with my job search. Shortly after meeting Jae, I had a job interview, both Jae and Ricardo helped me improve my job interview skills by doing a good mock interview. I attended the job interview with Jae and I was offer a job on the spot. Then Ricardo and Jae helped me with the onboarding process and attended my first 3 shift to make sure I was doing my job accurately. Thank you Zehra, Ricardo and Jae for all the help and support. I strongly recommend Gateway Association to anyone looking for a job.

Since the pandemic, my friend struggled to look for a new opportunity even though an employment agency assisted her. Luckily, she was referred to Gateway Association, and in less than five months, Ricardo helped her find a job that fits her capabilities. Ricardo was very professional in helping build her resume, exploring career options, advocating during job interviews and supporting her in finding a job. Furthermore, he continued helping to ensure she succeeded in her new position. Gateway Association GET-Work Program offers amazing opportunities for youth and young adults with barriers to employment. I have been referring young people to their GET-Work program since June 2020. Their support and commitment to their students is second to none! Youth are involved with great companies learning skills and making an income! And their process is fast - which is always a great accomplishment for kids who have struggled previously. Keep up the great work Gateways!
