The Carroll Trail
Loved it but it can be challenging if you do the whole loop. There re approximately three very steep(and I stress steep) hills on this trail. They are fabulously maintained and nice and wide. Starts through the woods along the river which is lovely, winds through the golf course over some bridges and goes under the highway three bridge and the train truss. It does loop back to the park where you start which is wonderful. My 4 year old got pretty tuckered out just pass the halfway mark but she only got carrier for about 30 mins and was good to go again. Can't wait to go again with my dog instead!

We took our bikes for a walk! A beautiful trail for walking but if you plan to go for a bike ride you must be a a skilled cyclist with a substantial mountain bike including disc brakes! Loose gravel in some of the flatter portions of the trail made for a slippery ride. We walked our bikes majority of the trail. Also watch out for flying golf balls when cruising the trail on the golf course *FORE*

This trail is not good for families with younger kids!!! The edge of the trail is a drop off into the river. Then it leads into the golf course, cool right? Yeah except my husband got hit with a golf ball in his thigh and the golfer showed no remorse and gave a half attempt of an apology. Glad he didn't hit either of my children that were 2 feet away from my husband.

Great views and was nice and clean. A sidewalk along john pound line would be nice so that you were forced to double back or walk along the road to coronation park would be a nice feature in the future.

Awesome hiking trail and disc golf course. There are plenty of beautiful sights to experience along the walking path and an abundant amount of wildlife including ducks, geese, swans, turtles and many types of birds common to the area.

The Carroll Trail
The trail is partially paved and partially gravel. It meanders along a stream, ponds fields, forest etc. There's a couple of steep hills if you choose to do the whole loop. Very picturesque!

Love all the trails in Tillsonburg. This one's winds through the golf course and we always seem to see wildlife especially geese. Nice flat trails. I didn't find any real tripping hazards. Many parts of the trail are paved. Nice Creek ponds and a few bridges. Some higher walkups but pretty good for most everyone

We had a great adventure on this trail with our great granddaughter and we had so much fun . She saw lots of huge trees, and grasses, flowers and even skunk cabbage. Very much enjoyed.

The Carroll Trail
A beautiful walking trail excellent for nature viewing or running. It starts at Coronation Park and bring you by a stream and ponds and along a golf course into open fields. The entire trail is 5km, but only the last 1.8km is a loop, so you can pick your distance. The majority of the trail is paved.
