The experience I had doing a photo shoot with Anita Watkins was validating. In this world, filled with competition and noise, who is there to really see or hear us? If we’re lucky, we have our own tribe. But Anita heard me and saw me. She made the pieces of myself come alive in resplendent, sharp, living images. I am so grateful to my wonderful, loving, generous husband for this spectacular birthday present, and I am very grateful to Anita, the artist, whose excitement and skill formed a special alchemy that forever captured my selves.After I left Anita's studio, I felt freer than I’ve felt in a long time, maybe ever. I felt completely accepted, validated, and confirmed. I have been walking in that sense of freedom, validation, and acceptability since. I strongly and highly recommend this experience to everyone! Anita is masterful and lots of fun, too!

I highly recommend Anita as a photographer! I was so nervous, and she made me feel so welcome and at ease, and I was so surprised at how it made me feel good about myself. I've never been a fan of having a head shot done, but I knew I needed a new one. Anita is not only an extremely talented photographer, she has a way about her that puts you at ease and brings out your best version of yourself. Her positive reinforcement makes what can be a tremendously awkward situation an adventure! So happy with her work and highly recommend.

I had the most incredible experience with Anita. I had the opportunity to pose for #Unstoppable; 40 women over 40. It was so much fun having my hair, makeup and clothes done for me. Anita is professional, fun, witty, talented, creative and an absolute genius with a camera. I have never felt more beautiful then I did in her studio. Thank you so very much Anita! You two ladies are an incredible team!The pictures I added are before, during and after hair and makeup with Aly and a dress that Anita chose for me. I’ve never felt more beautiful.

This experience was so much more than getting great photo’s taken. Each interaction with Anita was incredibly meaningful and insightful. She works magic with folks like me who are deeply convinced they are unphotogenic. I laugh, I cried, honestly she is better than many of the therapist I have been too or worked with…. and I am therapist!Her studio is gorgeous, which matches her bright personality and warm heart. An extra treat was getting my make-up done by AlyCat downstairs, which was easy and wonderful conversation that melted any apprehension away. Both these ladies are truly artists and worth every penny.

You know when you have one of those experiences which is really amazing... getting branding photo's done with Anita was just that. She offers a comprehensive service which is fun and relaxed and completely takes the awkwardness out of having photos done. I can't say enough how happy I am with the results and would highly recommend.

I can highly recommend Anita as a professional photographer.I was quite nervous when I showed up for my photoshoot. Within the first 10 minutes, I was completely at ease. Anita has the ability to make you feel wonderful about yourself. This increases your confidence and she is able to capture the 'real you'. The whole experience is something I'll never forget. And the photos?.....ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The best advice? ... if you have someone special in your life and you'd like to give them the experience of a lifetime, a session with Anita is the perfect gift!
