Historic venue with hand-operated elevators from days gone by. Food selection is limited but they gave away free water and Popsicles. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Great small theatre, we unfortunately had pur seats moved due to set up for Rock of Ages needing our seats for sound equipment and couldn't see the edge of the stage as a result. They have great old decor and the old style elevators with staff managing them which is a cool feature but makes for busy intermission.

Great venue, very friendly and efficient staff, beautiful architecture. The acoustics are wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was at the way, at the beginning of the show, the ushers went around shining their flashlights at people who were taking pictures with their phones. It was quite jarring and distracting. Instead, the organizers should have had the emcee who came up before the show to introduce the artist make a brief announcement that no recordings or photos were permitted.

Beautiful historic building in downtown Toronto. The details in the woodwork and rooms left me in awe.Seen Rock of Ages and couldn't have been more pleased with sound, lighting and atmosphere.Seats were comfortable, isles clean, not sticky like in a movie theatre. Staff very courteous and most helpful.

Such an elegant and remarkable theatre. We saw rock of ages and it was fabulous. Not kids friendly although there were many children there. Definately you should see a play at this theatre.

The grandeur, the old world charm, the romantic fairytale like setting I can’t praise this place enough! I loved it! Felt like I was part of an old Shakespearean play like Romeo and Juliette or a midsummer nights dream!

Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre
My wife and I attended a matinee of Rock of Ages on March 25th. Beautiful theater with lush comfortable seats. The theater staff were wonderful. When taking our seats they asked us if we'd like to upgrade to center orchestra seats. We jumped at the chance. Drinks in the bar are very reasonably priced comparable to other venues in the city. The downstairs bar area has lots of great posters of shows from a bygone age.Close to subway and Union Station to get in and out quickly and easily.Hopefully we can catch one more showing of Rock of Ages before it closes.

Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre
Beautiful theatre filled with history!Conveniently located on Yonge Street near the Eaton Centre.We love sitting high up and in the back to see most shows which gives us an awesome point of view on what is happening. It also allows us to enjoy the gorgeous architecture.Most of these pics were taken from seat R405.The acoustics were great and the seats comfortable.
