COBS Bread Bakery

COBS Bread has amazing treats and bread, but more noticeably such positive, kind, upbeat and pleasant staff. It’s rare to go somewhere that’s new a dozen times and always have a great experience! Are there a couple baked goods we haven’t been fond of? Sure, everyone’s tastes are different! But we love their sourdough and cheese pull apart bread, the buns are perfect if you use them right away or freeze them (it is a fresh, preservative free bakery after all!!), the scones are excellent, the chocolate croissant is my favourite personally, and we haven’t tried some of the other goodies but I am sure we will because we love supporting this business that goes above and beyond to be a positive stop in someone’s errands, and everything always looks delicious! The best bakery in town in our opinion!! Keep being awesome, COBS!

We had the cheese bread. Unfortunately not impressed. The loaf is about 1/3 the size of a regular loaf. I know the price of $8 for this creation is rather questionable. It is a coincidence that I paid that much for bread after hearing about the price fixing of bread going on in our area of the world. That all being said, if the bread was delicious, and cheesy throughout, I would tend to be more forgiving. Once you cut the bread open, all you get is air, no cheese. It’s a chore to slice bread with a big hole in the middle.All in all, very disappointing.

This location is so great! I’m from Toronto and this COBS location is so much better than the ones we have in Toronto. The cheese bread is incredible, cheese on top and cheese inside. It was so fresh too, I could have ate the whole loaf in one sitting, but practiced self control. The chocolate scones are also great, the chocolate flavour mixed with the chocolate chips is both a delicious taste and a delightful texture. I can’t wait to try more from there. I also have had the pleasure of chatting with the owner and she is so lovely. Definitely recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Cobbs.Their product is very high quality and affordable!The staff are super helpful, friendly, and always happy to see you walk through the door.Their app is super easy to use and is a great point system.I highly recommend you go for a visit!

Cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant and sour dough bread. Everything tastes great. Will be going back.

Fell in love with COBS in Alberta. Was so happy when you opened near me. The staff is great and the products are delicious! My favorite is the pumpkin scone but when they are out of season, the double chocolate are to die for. I do miss the dolce de leche apple tart they had in AB ... maybe one day they will have them here.

I visited Cobs bread in St. Thomas a few days ago and the service was OUTSTANDING! Theresa was the shop front staff member and she was exceptional! Her smile made my day and she knows all about the products they sell! She was very helpful and comfortable.... all the staff was great actually, like visiting with a friendly neighbor! I will definitely be back! And their bread and pastries are TOP SHELF! Everything I bought was an experience of flavour! I will be visiting weekly!

We always get their white fiber bread, Danish, and cinnamon buns. They had samples of chocolate hot cross buns.Service was quick and staff were super friendly. In and out within 10 minutes.

We can't say enough good things about Cobs Bread here in St Thomas.The staff are very helpful and friendly, and when we requested a special order, they were more than excited to try it.Trying to find a good gluten free bread or roll is nearly impossible, but the LOWFOD bread that they make is the solution to our gluten issues.The staff was willing to try to make us some LOWFOD buns. This was the first time in over 3 years we could enjoy a burger without the cardboard taste or the buns falling apart. We will definitely be ordering them in the future.Thank you Cobs,

Bread and baked goods always taste good! The staff here are so friendly. This location is clean. I love that Cobs bread donates the leftover bread at the end of the day.
