COBS Bread Bakery
I usually like going to COBS bread and I also enjoy their food but today was different. I went to COBS wanting to get 6 pieces of scone but the guy behind the counter only gave us four, I would assume that he was not paying attention to what I was telling him. He did not clarify the order and he also gave us the smallest piece of scone (the strawberry passion fruit scone); we payed 2.70 for it and not asking for it for free.

Like the bread and products but this is the second time I've shown up within open" hours (posted online and on their voicemail) and there was a piece of paper tapped to the door saying they were closed early. I even tried to call to confirm they were open but no one answers the phone... disappointed and waste of time."

The bread is fresh and very tasty but sourdough was not my taste. They told me the bread is sunflower but it was actually flex seeds.. but we enjoyed the bread

I hardly ever leave reviews but this was the worst quality cinnamon bun I've had in terms of the wrapper / liner being baked right into the dough of the bun! I'm so surprised since they always had great cinnamon buns. Perhaps it's a new employee who needs a lot more training?! It ruined my appetite.

Usually I have positive service. Today. Was exceptionally bad. Fair enough I came in at 5 to 6.. 5 min before close. I understand if people are tired, had a bad day ect. I asked very nicely for my loaf regular sliced. This takes 15 seconds. I was told it can't be cut. I asked why.. he preceeded to tell me we shut down the slicing machine 10 min before closing.. I've been a baker and front staff. For this companyAlso thinking of coming back. You don't shut down the slicer

I bought a few different loaves of bread there yesterday. I like them all, very good bread. I like the price too. Friendly and helpful staff answered all my questions. I am glad to have a nice bakery nearby now, I just moved.
