One of their high pressure door to door sales people convinced my elderly father to sign up for an overpriced furnace that he did not need. Luckily he realized he'd been had shortly after signing. The contract said to cancel it had to be done within 3 days, and only by registered mail (not likely possible in 3 days) or by fax (hello, its 2016, no one has a fax machine anymore). Several calls to their call center resulted only in delay tactics. When he finally found a fax machine, there was no answer on their fax number. Not sure yet how this will end for us, but I'm relieved that the government of Alberta has passed legislation prohibiting this sort of activity as of Jan 1 2017. Hopefully these people will be out of business shortly after.
