I have been curling in this club for over 10 years, a short spell in regards to some of our lifetime members with over 50 years at FCC. I was new to Fergus when I joined. I was welcomed and made to feel as though I had always been there. The majority of friends I now have in town are all due to the Fergus Curling Club. I have my daughter curling and she loves it, she has been going since she was 5 years old, she too has made some lasting friendships through the sport. This is the only sport that we both can play as we age throughout our lives, and have fun doing so. At this club you will see how wonderful the community of Fergus is, because the whole club is run by volunteers. We have many different bonspiels throughout the year, from new curlers up to advance levels. Every game ends in a round table discussion of the shots made and the shots missed, sometimes by your own teammates, but it is all in fun. So if you have have always wondered about the sport, stop in one night and have a drink and check it out. We all love to talk about curling!

It was a fantastic venue for our motley crew of curlers. Club was clean, staff were friendly and the bar was well stocked.
