Relic Surf Shop and Surf School

Booked a surf lesson a week ago. Really liked it, instructor was very kind and got all the equipment that was needed (even for cold days). Could have the surf gear for the whole day without paying extra for it.Would definitely recommend this Surf School!

ROOF RACK INCLUDED!! My spouse and I chose Relic for our rentals because their website had the best rental rates AND it includes the Roof Rack (which they set-up for us!). This was very convenient as our vehicle does not have a roof rack. We are so glad we went to this store! The staff is super friendly, their prices are unbeatable and their knowledge is priceless! We had such a good experience with the staff, store and surf gear that we decided to go back the day after for another day of surf! I will, hands down, always go to Relic for my rentals or purchases. They answered all my questions and made sure I would be safe and happy! Highly recommend!

First time surfing! Great staff - I was nervous about getting surf boards on our little car but the staff were very chill, confident, and reassuring that it would work out.Good quality gear - I'd recommend for first timers: use all the gear they give you. I left the hood and gloves in the car, but the wind gets pretty chilly when you get wet.Good prices - I'd keep an eye out for groupons in the future, but it was $20 for board and $20 for wetsuit and accessories, so overall a very affordable price for a great day out!They have a very nice clothing store as well and an adorable shop cat!

Younger dude could use some better social skills. I guess if he owned the bizz , it might be a better sales experience for the customer?

My girlfriend and I just went for a group lesson with them. The instructor was amazing at explaining and we got amazing service. We then had an amazing time learning. Overall great experience!

Really amazing experience. I grew up going to another well known surf shop outside Tofino, but Relic has better customer service & is way cheaper!Will continue to go back to Relic!

These guys and gals were awesome. They went the extra mile to get us and two kids set up and ready to catch some waves!

Super friendly staff! Did a surf class here with my family and it was super fun! The staff members are fun and professional. I could tell the surf instructor was very knowledgeable as he was able to answer all the questions I had throughout the class. He was also very encouraging as I couldn’t get up the first couple times and gave me pointers. At the end of the class I stood up three times which is all thanks to our instructor’s guidance! I also did surfing classes in Australia before and Relic definitely was more helpful than the class I did there! Definitely recommend for a good time :)

My girlfriend and son had their first lesson and loved it! We plan on coming back next year so Zach better be there! I can’t load the video of his full stand up from wave to shore.

I tried a different surf school the previous summer and wasn't sure surfing was for me. Decided to try again and I'm so happy I chose Relic. Everyone in the shop was very friendly, the shop has great products, and my surf instructor was fantastic. They provided excellent feedback, were genuinely stoked to be in the water, and helped me progress to a point where I'm now stoked myself to keep progressing. Thank you team!
