Queen City Yacht Club

I've been able to enjoy this gem of a place for a decade now. Its greatest attribute is it carry's none of the pretentiousness yacht clubs are known for. No dress codes just a ton of friendly people from diverse backgrounds who all gather here for their love of sailing and many other hobby's. The club perseveres due to its amazing members who take on all tasks as volunteers around the club which helps build camaraderie. Send them an email, anyone is welcome to come visit, see for yourself why it is such an amazing place.

My priority is the people. Very friendly, always ready to pitch in or party-hearty. The vintage clubhouse is a gem. Serving sailors for over 100 years. Lovely mooring spots, a very popular destination for visiting boats. Legendary events and potluck dinners. Great Old Fashions! Can't wait for the season to start.

It’s been my escape from the city for 15 years. Low key and friendly with great food and a view that can’t be beat.

QCYC is one of the most beautiful locations in Toronto and a great place for kids in the summer. Our children loved the learn to sail summer camp.

Probably my favourite place in Canada.. A warm and friendly island village vibe with a community of members who have become my family. From helping me repair the boat to beers on the restaurant balcony for sunset. There's no place I'd rather be

A great place to sail, relax, and enjoy the Toronto Islands. The club has an outstanding location, with great views of the Toronto Skyline. It has great facilities, including an outstanding restaurant and bar. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Queen City Yacht Club was the most AMAZING place to hold an event. We had our wedding there in summer 2021 and the venue was the perfect place for a wedding. The management was really easy to deal with and very down-to-earth. The whole venue is stunning with the outdoor yard overlooking the city skyline, the barge boat deck that you can have an outdoor cocktail hour on, plus the upstairs banquet hall had a unique and rustic feel that we adored. I can't recommend this place enough for an event or wedding. It was very budget friendly and close to the ferry dock, or you can use their private tender boat to transport your guests. Thank you to the Queen City Yacht club for making our day so special!
