Not really impressed! Had my car here for the day for a major service and trabsmission/4wd fluids change… the staff at the front desk were very helpful, however, never saw the service advisor… nobody called to update on the vehicle… I had to personally call and chase twice… went to collect, and again no trace of this magical service advisor…

I gave it 3 stars originally, based on my experience with an annual service: the work itself was done well and they found a water pump leak, but they also reported tyres as worn and due to be replaced when they weren't yet, also general communication could be much better. However, it turned out to be not the end of the story.After I brought my car back to the workshop for repairs, I was told that water pump is a consumable (sic!) and isn't covered by the warranty I had. I insisted that a report was sent to Skoda warranty team and called them myself to confirm that water pump repairs should be covered, subject to assessment - turned out to be the case, so the water pump was replaced under warranty. OK, not ideal, but sorted eventually.In just few days my car started to suffer from engine power loss as well as started reporting cruise control system and engine start-stop system failures. WTH?! I took it to another Skoda authorised service centre and they figured that the turbocharger air intake pipe was fitted incorrectly (!!!) when the repairs were done. ARGH! What kind of an official workshop is that?!I sent an official email with the diagnostics report and the invoice to Citygate and demanded a reimbursement - got a quick apology response and then... silence obviously (of course I did try to chase them).Never again.

Very small amount of new cars on show! 4 to be precise! Disappointed is an understatement. The model I wanted to look at wasn’t on show there were only to of the range models.

Avoid at all costs. Their approved used cars are not serviced based on their own guidelines, so expect to be on the hook for unexpected costs.I purchased a car approved used with them, took it in for a service less than a year later to be faced with a bill of £2,500 - 25% of the cost of the car.I tried to speak to them to understand how a car they sold approved used could have gone from good brakes and pads when sold to ones which were ‘excessively worn’ after I’d driven only 3,500 miles, and why they hadn’t changed the cambelt based on the four-year service interval they list on their website.I could not get in contact with them however hard I tried, with emails and phone calls consistently going unanswered. I was eventually forced to open up a case with Skoda customer service – at which point the sales manager from Citygate told them that he’d called me and we’d agreed they were in the right – which was a lie!It would be one thing selling a car in a poor condition, but their continued avoidance of the issue, as well as being deceptive about communication between us, was not something I’ve experienced before.If you’re thinking of going approved used to avoid the hassle of buying a bad car, you’ll be very disappointed. They’re very attentive before you buy, but they’ll wipe their hands of you as soon as you’ve made the purchase.

Chris and Joe were brilliant throughout the whole sales process and I am delighted with my new Karoq. Trade in and deal / payments all very transparent and I was kept informed throughout the process. Handover was excellent and I would definitely recommend the team at Citygate.

By far the worst car dealer I have had to deal with. Don't be fooled by the fancy showroom - if you are looking for a used car you'd be much better off using a backstreet dealer. This dealer is out to deceive you at every opportunity and treat their junior staff appallingly. 1) When I went to view the car it was in an unlit car park and quite dusty - I had assumed that this was a trustworthy dealer and so there would be no hidden issues but when I went to collect the car there were a number of chips in the paintwork which they had not mentioned and it had not been possible to see in the original lighting. They then refused to fix them because I had already paid for the car. 2) They keep the fuel in their cars so low that it is not possible to take them out for a proper test drive - the car said 5 miles and the salesperson said it would be fine and then once we were on the road refused to let me take the car on a main road to test it at speed, 3) They asked me to complete the customer satisfaction survey in front of them and then when I did not give them all 5 stars they sent down the Manager to try and intimidate me to changing my review scores, 4) Since collecting the vehicle it has materialised there are issues with the suspension on the car and they have refused to fix them (despite the car supposedly being under the 'Approved Used Skoda Warrany' scheme).

I cannot say enough of how this business location and its staff delivers on its promise of helping customers.We had an issue with our vehicle and after speaking to their staff (Nesta in particular), she and her team helped us to get out of pickle with an impeccable service that made us walk away and have faith in customer service that was over and above what we expected.They made us feel comfortable from the moment i emailed them to visiting them to driving away. If i was buying a VW vehicle and wanting the best pre and post experience, you cannot go wrong with this location and team.Thanks for the giving the experience that is most often lost on other branded business today. Bravo VW Citygate West London!
