Mike was very helpful and a great instructor. Even though it was windy and chopping water, he told us what we needed to know to ensure we had a good experience. The rest of the staff was amazing as well. I would definitely go again. It really is Happy Paddling.

Very good experience. Ann and her team of staff were very friendly and passionate about their job. Well organized and they truly care about your safety. Highly recommend their service. My family had a great time!

Awesome experience.My family and I had a great time and lot of fun on 2-seat kayak and stand up paddle. The staffs were very friendly and professional, and the equipment were clean and organized.They would provide a short training to you and teach you how to control and ride the kayak & SUP. They always put your safety in top priority, which made me feel safe and comfortable all the time.We will definitely come back for more. Highly recommended to anyone who like to play/try Kayak and SUP.

Me and my 7 year old daughter rented a kayak for an hour and it was such a great time! The staff was very knowledgeable and showed us the proper way to maneuver the kayak and they made both myself and my daughter feel very comfortable. The beautiful scenery while you're on the lake is amazing with lots of adorable little birds to see and lovely shoreline views . It was a great time and we will definitely be back! They even took some great pictures of us so we can have memories of our little adventure!

Mike was extremely friendly and informative, first time I’ve called a place for rental and gotten a call back. Happy paddling can easily be the best lake side fun for the whole family on a nice weekend. The staff also was very diligent in providing instructions and advice on how to paddle the area. I don’t have to go on about Lakeshore Barrie’s scene, anyone who’s been there knows the beauty. Give happy paddling a call, highly recommended!

The owner and manager run the business dishonesty and unfriendly, they shorted the rent time for the water paddle for 45 min because you r out of the boundary. Really bad experience!!! Will never play here again…we asked for the refund, they refused as we are foreigners.In response to the owner’s reply:The owner mentioned he offered me 6 times to play near the shore. However, when I was pulled in, I asked the manager right away, and she refused my request to play near shore impolitely by saying “your rental has to be end”. Does your manager’s service (response)present HAPPY-PADDLING? If your company had offered me the majority of the rent hour, I would have been very happy. That is the reason I asked whether there are some clause if I am out of the boundary my rental will be end. Actually there r neither in the waiver written or virtually. Unfortunately When I am waiting on the beach waiting for my husband coming back, your manager were happily telling the next clients about the playing boundary rules and other policies. So I am very confused about your explanation: , as there were still 45 min left after I was pulled away.I am coming to Barrie waterfront for fun, Why should I accept your offer . This offer is only provided after I asked for the refund. Why didn’t your manager offer me to play near shore immediately after have the chat ( exactly after 15 min mark)? I was waiting on the shore for around 30 min. before the offer for going back on the water was proposed by you. If this has been the response immediately when I was pulled to the shore, I would have been very happy. it is really a bad experience, disappointed…

Reserved and paid the canoe over the phone and received a receipt right away. Arrived and was greeted by Mike and Ann of Happy Paddling who had us all set up with a canoe, paddles and life jackets. They provided us with helpful tips and a locker was available on land to keep our items dry. The canoe was clean and our excursion was very enjoyable. This location provided fantastic views. Afterwards we were provided with water to clean our feet which was extremely thoughtful. Feeding the ducks near the beach was a treat as well. Highly recommended!

Had an awesome experience! The staff were all kind and helpful and made it an amazing experience! They even took photos of us! Prices are amazing for the time, and there is a large area you are able to paddle on! I would highly recommend. We will be back next season!

Amazing experience... Me and my wife had a very good time together on 2 sit on top kayak. Staff was very nice and polite. We were given a short training before we did the kayak. Highly recommended.
