Done a huge translation job back in July 2022, but still haven’t received the payment. The client does not reply to any calls or several reminders.

ABC has a consistent pattern of not paying freelancers and ignoring all email inquiries about payment. Despite repeated attempts to reach out to them, they would only reply sporadically, promising to look into the matter, only to disappear for several months afterwards. As a result, I cannot recommend working with ABC or using their services to anyone.

I would not recommend working with ABC as a client or translator. They never observe the agreed terms of payment and make intervals between payments longer and longer. When the due amount reaches several thousand dollars they just disappear. The most part of the staff are Ukrainians and while everyone is trying to help the people of Ukraine at the time of war, ABC is stealing from their compatriots.

ABC is basically a language brokerage firm that offers little in the way of accountability--they hire translators for clients, but do not appear to monitor for quality control. When some oddities appeared in a job we contracted with them, the proof reader they hired for us refused to answer questions or provide clear parameters for how they were judging the material. Using ABC just created more problems for us and was a huge waste of our money--we would have been better off using a freelancer site or hiring someone locally, and directly, ourselves.

I can`t recommend this company to anybody and will never use their services again. Lousy behavior towards their customers and potential clients. They refused to speak with me by phone for 2 minutes, so I spent more than 1.5 hours figuring out some details through several emails. I also asked to cancel my order for objective reasons, but they refused. Overpriced services.

Shoddy and unprofessional company that pretends to be locally based in Vancouver but in fact address is just a virtual office and they send out your translations to random translators. It took over 2 weeks for me to receive my documents, mostly because they were sent from Montana. They probably have a bunch of web pages faking local locations. Really should have done my research before accepting their quote and should have paid attention to red flags like e-mails being sent at 1:00 am Vancouver time and active discouragement to pick up of documents at their listed address, despite website saying pick was possible. Highly recommend choosing a different translation company.

As a freelancer, I wouldn't recommand going to ABC Language Solutions for work: they are failling to pay the most basic invoice for work that most companies don't even blink at to pay. If you are client and are looking for services, I would recommend going to someone else, as if they can't pay professionnal translators for doing honest work, they are just going to find the cheapest translators they can find and it's not going to be good.

I've been using ABC Language Solutions for over 2 years, Maria has always been so helpful. Their translations are completed quickly and they always get back to me the same day with any of my queries. I highly recommend this company.

I strongly advise against working with ABC as a client or translator due to their consistent failure to honor agreed-upon payment terms. They frequently delay payments and let the amount owed accumulate to several thousand dollars before disappearing without any notice. It's worth noting that the majority of ABC's staff are Ukrainian, and it's disheartening to see a company taking advantage of their compatriots during a time of war. Therefore, I urge you to avoid any dealings with ABC to avoid any potential financial or ethical issues.
