I didn’t want to write this review and I gave the company plenty of times to discuss my problem (three separate calls trying to reach the manager). The staff and service was fairly good, the product not!I finally reached the manager. I explained that I had ordered Pyper’s Perfect Soil after hearing wonderful things, but what I received was not what my friends did (even our friends agreed!). I was unable to break up a clump of this grey soil” by hand (the manager suggested using my foot to break it up)

I rented a dumpster from them, and they delivered and picked it up as they said they would, and charged the price they said they would. No complaints, would rent a dumpster from them again. Some of the other reviews talk about their soil, etc. I can't speak to that because I only got a dumpster.

Orderedal a huge amount of Pyper's perfect top soil from this company and was very disappointed in the end result. When spring came, the melted snow revealed loads of gravel and broken glass all over my yard. The grass won't grow because of the ridiculous amount of rocks and no more walking barefoot in our yard until we're done picking up all the glass. Absolutely ridiculous!

I too ordered a whole truck load of garden soil for my plants... then for an extra charge they bumped up my order to triple mix... After dumping the whole 32 yards (from what I can remember fitting in a dump truck) the soil was moist looking and dark, yet after starting to spread and move the soil I immediately noticed it wasn’t what I ordered... it had pieces of broken glass, pieces of steel, even pieces of smashed plates/ceramic chunks not to mention the huge amount of gravel as well. It also dried up looking like dirt... I made the mistake of spreading all over my front lawn to even it out and to give it new life, well it turned into clayish clumps that smothered my lawn from water and air, until I had no choice but to re-seed the whole front lawn. Basically I was given a truck load of fill.. possibly I was at the right place and the right time for them to get rid of a truck load of soil they removed from a new construction site’s foundation dig. I called and emailed them back, never to be reached back from anyone... I am still picking broken glass off my front lawn and garden even after 3 years of the purchase. I am writing this now in hopes that it will save someone the waste of money buying a product which is certainly not as described... I will also send my complaints to the BBB to get my money back... This spring, do the right thing and avoid these guys at all costs.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever seen with a company that’s supposed to be professional..... not impressed at all. The company told me that they were bringing crushed concrete.... got nothing but dirt, pieces of wood with nails in it, plastic etc. Tried to reason with the owner.... got nothing but attitude. Been asking them to remove it... got no response. My opinion, nobody should be trusting this company for anything!!!!
