National Sports - Peterborough

I went into National sports not knowing what to expect.they pointed me in the direction of a pair of New balance shoes which turned out to be a wonderful pair of shoes for. The price was better than I expected. The staff was eager to help. A good warranty I have 60 days to bring shoes back even if defective. Thank you very much National sports

I went for running shoes as I buy new ones twice a year and the service was terrible. I was the only customer and the salesman kept leaving me and also seemed to get frustrated that I wanted to try different sizes. I was more of an inconvenience. It's unfortunate because they have good prices and great shoes. Might give it one more shot.

Could find any staff to help us out... Disappointing

Shoe department is amazing! Matt is extremely helpful, quick and attentive. Knowledgeable and able to make suggestions based on your activity (running, walking, training, etc.) and foot shape (wide, high instep, etc.). I always buy my sports shoes here!

Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They didn't have the size we wanted/needed but she was able to tell us how to get what we needed

Today on my lunch break from work, I went to purchase a pair of runners at National Sports. Not knowing which shoes were meant for which activity I asked for helped from Leslie; she was wonderful. Leslie made my shoe shopping experience as pain free as possible. She was attentive and supportive in helping me size for the various brands. She went back and forth from the stockroom, finding me different sizes, styles and brands to try on until we found just the right pair. Not only were my new shoes extremely comfortable, they were reduced by $50 with an additional reduction of 20%. Thank you Leslie!

Always helpful and very knowledgeable sales staff in the hockey equipment department.I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service I received from a young sales associate over the telephone when looking for Referee pants for my son recently.The young man not only searched the sales floor, but also checked boxes of newly arrived stock and the availability of the item online. He offered to order the item in for me but unfortunately we needed the pants the next am.He then suggested an alternative retailer whom he was confident had in stock the size we needed.I was so impressed with his demeanor, thoroughness and willingness to help me over the phone. I made a point of telling him what s great job he was doing.I intend to continue shopping at that location whenever possible for our sporting needs.

The sales lady was very helpful. The manager gave me a great deal on a raincoat from a previous years inventory from their storage room. My shopping experience was wonderful.

Searched quite a few stores for a nice pair of Nike shoes. Sport chek had same shoes for $109, I went to national sports and purchased mine for $75. Great staff too, I'm kind of picky and the staff was very patient with me and friendly too. Thanks

Great staff, hate that the stores closing. If anyone see’s a resume with a National Sports employee give them a shot, great people. Nothing but good experience at the store. Will be missed.
