Great customer service. When one of my friend dropped something in her water, the waiter immediately noticed it and got her another glass. She was also very patient with us when we were trying to decide what to get. The food was also very good. I would come back again for the dry hot pot dishes.

I spent my early childhood in China eating Si Chuan dishes and since I have been in Montreal for the last 20 years, never have I had this authentic Si Chuan food in Montreal!

Stir fried pork intestine in hot pot was incredible! Family restaurant absolutely recommended!

Legit Sichuan food, with a real family run vibe. Just no frills, home style dishes. We really enjoyed the mouth watering chicken, peppers and tripe, twice cooked pork, and garlic bok choy. Really affordable prices too. And the auntie running the front of house was very friendly :)

I love this place. Found it few weeks ago and went back already several times! Authentic and reasonable price. If you love spicy and real Sichuan food. You must go.

Found a new spot (for us) to try in the Guy Concordia area, L’Appétissant Sichuan. It’s a family run Sichuan restaurant that specializes in spicy dry pots.Three spice levels (mild, regular and spicy). Regular was totally doable.- White rice ($6.00 large) - bowl was massive but we finished most of it.- Stir fried frog legs in hot pot ($21.99) - the frog legs are bony but worth the effort. Meat is tender and very flavourful. Wish they gave more black fungus.- Fish soup with pickled cabbage ($19.99) - the noodles, hidden underneath, soaked up the broth perfectly. Soup was flavourful and well balanced. Good amount of fish and plenty of vegetables.- Stir fried eggplant with garlic sauce ($13.99) - eggplant was cooked perfectly. The sauce was slightly sweet and sticky.Would come back to LS to try more of their Sichuan eats.

Family run with the cutest daughter helping out.We tried their frog legs in hot pot ($21.99), fish soup with pickled cabbage ($19.99) and eggplant with garlic sauce ($13.99). The frog legs was my favourite but the other dishes were well balanced and flavourful.No frills, Szechuan gem. Give them a try.
