I’ve only tried chicken taquitos as yet, but the flavour was excellent. Salsa verde as good as the fabled Xoco in Chicago. Toppings on the taquitos very good, although there were too many onions. A little disappointed in portion size/ cost, but that’s probably just the age in which we find ourselves. I showed up when I was supposed to and the chef asked how I’d ordered while my ticket was sticking out 3 feet away. No biggie, but not shiny.

I produce videos for Winnipeg for the Chinese Community to go and explore new restaurants that are outside of the brand name places.I asked someone for an interview because they are from Mexico so I can cut it in my video review for Red Book.It's quite sad that everybody deny the interview and they looked at me funny, which is sad because I could bring a lot of Chinese to that particular restaurant, but they missed out on a great business opportunity for free.The Chinese are willing to come and spend a lot of money here in Winnipeg for an ethnic experience, but I can't show them an ethnic experience if people from Mexico don't want to share their culture.In my opinion, if you're going to be selling the ethnic experience, you should be willing to be talked about your experience being Mexican, with the customers. It brings a whole different Dynamic to the customer service experience.

La Taqueria Mexican Street Tacos
Tried this new Mexican place today for the first time, and it was excellent! We both had their 2 taco, rice and beans combo, and we shared a bowl of pizole soup. Tacos were tasty, the beans and rice were top notch, and the soup was surprisingly great! The place is spotless, and the couple who own it are super friendly and really want honest feedback on the food. We'll definitely be back!

Very delicious and reasonably priced tacos.If you’re looking for authentic Mexican tacos then this is a must try.The birria tacos are full of flavour.And the customer service is exceptional.I will definitely be coming back for more!

La Taqueria is a great place to eat authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is really nice and has a beautiful decoration with a lot of Mexican details like paintings and a charro sombrero that creates a fun atmosphere.We were able to meet Lyle, one of the owners, who was really attentive and along with the friendly staff, they help you have a great experience.We tried the aztec soup and the cochinita, birria and mole tacos and they were all delicious and flavourful! They are the best authentic Mexican food I've had since I arrived to Winnipeg.For dessert we tried the churros and they were literally better than any I ever had in Mexico, you definetly have to try them! I totally recommend this restaurant!Gracias!

I've been meaning to check this place out for a while, so I brought a friend who was visiting from out of town. We loved the tacos so much that he ordered 3 more to go so he could eat them on his road trip the next day. I'm already planning to go back next week. The owner is so kind and you can tell she puts so much love into the food. Also, the prices were very fair and I was stuffed for the evening after getting one of the combo meals. This is my new favourite spot in the city!

The cochinita tacos and the tres leches cake were delicious. To be honest, there is no difference between the other two tacos because they tasted the same, but, I give them 5 stars because the staff are very friendly and so kind specially the cashier, thanks for the tourist recommendations.

Excellent authentic Mexican Street Tacos. Our favorite place to dine out. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Love to try the new additions to their menu as they are released. We tried their new Noche Buena taco today and were blown away by the flavour. We tried out Jarritos Mexican cola with our meal and quite liked it as well.Stop by and enjoy an affordable and delicious Mexican culinary delight!

One of the best Mexican places I’ve been to in Winnipeg! The owners are some of the friendliest people I’ve sat down with! The tamales were so flavourful, the tacos were next level but the atmosphere these hard working people create with their personalities really shine through their food. Thank you for the delicious lunch!
