Bulk Barn

Walked by the Bulk Barn so many times and never gave it a thought. Today decided to go in and look around and all I can say is WOW!Everything you need to make any food and so many sweets and snacks for cheap!Fresh ground coffee and tea!WOWWill definitely be back!Edit: they also have a lot of dog and cat food!

I wasn't sure how it would be since COVID began, but it was very safe and a great experience. :) I was happy to get my baking supplies today.

Excellent staff. Management need to fix process. No twist ties and all clips with space to write bin numbers. Customer and staff running back and forth slows line management ridiculously.Look forward to this change before i visit again. Still managed to spend $75 tho. Store is clean and well laid out.

For small or large quantities of pretty much anything under the sun you can find it here at bulk barn. As a chef and an aspiring baker, I like going to bulk Barn to get small amounts of nuts for a garnishes sprinkles for cakes and cupcakes, goodies for cakes and cookies, and ingredients, but most of all this is the least expensive highest quality piping bags tips and cake pans that I've found in the area. The variety and colors of baking materials is uncanny, and if I'm going to be honest, my favorite thing is the chocolate covered marshmallows. I'm a big fan of chocolate covered marshmallow given that Ganon only usually puts it out a couple times a year if I'm going to be completely transparent but for the amount of grams that you actually get at say Shoppers Drug mart, Save On, or any other place the value just isn't there. Through Bulk Barn though you can get the chocolate-covered marshmallow, complete with m and m's, and be sure that you're getting a standard quality goods as frequently and off season as you can manage . They run about a dollar seven a piece but they are very very worth it. This is my favorite cheat treat.

I love that there's a place where you can buy as much or as little as you need. Love love Bulk Barn.They have everything you can think of here. Great for bakers, with so many unique ingredients and bake pans, trays to buy.Staff is helpful and friendly.Store is always clean and well organized.I highly recommend shopping here, especially if you live single.Social distancing is still required here!The must hand sanitize as you enter into the store, provided just to the left when you walk in.

Some bulk items I have purchased taste old. Also know your prices. Some prices are terribly inflated on confection items. Saw one item there for over 2.00. The same item at Walmart is .87 and at London Drugs .98.

I love bulk barn, they're a great company. But when I was in today, at this location, I heard the manager having a shouting match with an employee in the back.I was the only person in the store, and when I got to the till I had to wait till he was done yelling at an employee before they noticed I was waiting to be helped. The employee came out and helped me, looking thoroughly chastised. A manager shout never have to yell at an employee. Gross misconduct!

Awesome selection. Sadly, the manager is impersonal and may need some customer service upgrades.
