I got my Suffolk mattress and base today and it is beautiful, a piece of art..the bedroom smells like wood, which I love and is much better than the off-gassing mattresses usually offer. Can't speak highly enough of the mattress and the craftsmen who made them. I would only advise having enough help to carry the mattress into your place, it's heavy.

I found black sheep too late in my mattress shopping experience. Had I been there first I would have purchased all of our family’s mattresses there. As it was, I could just repair the situation with a topper. Sarah and the team went above and beyond to help me out and I recommend any mattress buyer start here first. Hand made in calgary. I bought the King Low Latex pillow and it is amazing! I'm someone who likes to sleep with their arm under their pillow but I needed something firmer than my old feather pillow. This pillow is the perfect combo of everything I love about feather pillows and the bounce and firmness of foam. You can move the fill around to suit your sleeping needs and you can even remove some fill to adjust it even more!Love this pillow!

We needed a new mattress, and after searching online we found the Black Sheep Mattress Company. The reviews were stellar. Organic & hypoallergenic materials, local etc.. loved what we read. We booked an appointment and ordered a mattress the same day. Liza was friendly, informative and made sure we had plenty of time to test out each mattress in the showroom. I am 6'6 and my wife is 5'7"

Wow, I bought the wool duvet and it is such an experience! I had a microfibre duvet and was sleeping so hot, so when I finally got this duvet and tried it, my sleep totally changed. I can't wait to sleep every night because it's such a treat. It's a light weight blanket that works season round, but it's still so cozy, warm and breathable in winter months. I'm not waking up uncomfortable and hot anymore. Another upside is that it's locally made with quality and care. I think I'll even gift some to my family. Absolutely recommend!

The whole process was wonderful, from visiting the shop and trying beds, getting a tour of where they are made to final delivery and now getting the best sleeps! Not only were the prices very comparable to other brands, they are made locally!10/10 recommend.

If you need a new mattress, run, don't walk directly to Black Sheep Mattress Company. Why? From the moment we stepped through their door the experience has been stellar. The sales lady was knowledgable and helped us pick a mattress that exactly suited our needs. They sent an employee to measure our bed frame just to make sure the mattress we ordered was a perfect fit. There was a hitch in the delivery and when I called to inquire, the owner took immediate action and delivered our mattress himself! That afternoon! Now, that's customer service!!!The mattress, pillows and sheets have been absolutely wonderful. My husband has health and mobility issues and is sleeping much better now. He is also able to get in and out of bed easier because the Black Sheep mattress was custom made lower to the ground.My career is in quality assurance. I know quality. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Black Sheep Mattress will provide you with a quality product with quality service to match.

Really enjoying my new pillow. I bought the shredded latex because it gave me the extra height and support I needed in my shoulder area. The pillow is well made but the casing is a little crunchy when moving around but not noticeable once you get used to it. No smell from the good quality materials used.Staff (owner?) at the store are friendly and are very proud of the products and materials they produce, as they should be as some of the beds I tried were very comfortable. I was given a quick tour of where they make the beds and the workroom is spotless.Only thing is the price, while you are getting top quality beds made from top quality materials, the price is a lot higher than the competition for comparable products. Maybe the higher quality of materials in the Black Sheep beds are superior but I'm not convinced. Check this place out if you are looking for very good quality beds and accessories.

This is the best mattress we have ever owned. It solved our aching back issues. We loved the whole Goldilocks trial experience in-store and the fact that the materials used are natural.
