I've been to this shop a few times. It didn't really stand out in terms of selection compared to others. I purchased an item today and when the cashier rang it in the price was higher than the counter price. I politely questioned it and the manager made a rude noise in response. She then went and checked it and it was the lower price. I don't care so much about the mistake, but it was a very rude and unprofessional response with no apology, and I will be favouring other friendlier establishments in the area.

do not be fooled by the stars,as far as canned goods or packaged goods its the same as any modern shop,however products made on site { sausage} are not always readily available ,It would be wise to call and ask before venturing there for any made on site products....p.s. staff seem to find it funny that they are out of stock on these items

Best butcher in Montreal. There is nothing here that isn't perfectly good. The osso bucco is excellent, as is the bavette, filet mignon, you name it. The rest of the products are a bit expensive. Try the homemade pizzas on your way out.

Really great butcher in Jean Talon Market. Good quality meats, cheeses, and accompaniments. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help and/or answer questions. Great spot!

The place to get all your Italian grocery needs like canned tomatoes, the best dried pasta, the best pecorino Romano and parmigiano regiano, sausages are incredible, mozzarella di buffala and the frozen pasta, tortellini especially, I mean the list just goes on. They also have some prepared food you can buy to eat.
