Sharing my review on a local business in our community. I rarely post reviews and felt the need to express my appreciation for the services received at Skin Sense Laser Aesthetics in Kettle Valley, Upper Mission. I am a novice to advanced medical-grade facials and today I shed years off my face at Skin Sense Laser Aesthetics. Thank you to Jamie Gemmell for her professional consultation delving into my skin type, followed by a huge rave to Adele Parser for the most amazing facial treatments paying close attention to detail! Adele worked her magic to rejuvenate my face in less than 2 hours! My first ever jet peel sloughed years of unwanted skin, followed by a lymphatic massage, which raised my cheeks, neckline and eye lids instantly! Finished off with an exfoliation treatment and a non-surgical lip plump blast. My experience speaks volumes, when I say my husband and my eight year old daughter were shocked by the transformation! Being a novice, I discovered, there are many solutions to choose from, and can be overwhelming. My treatment included a complimentary consult with facials ranging from $130 to $275, and go from there based on ones needs (such as IPL, PRP, Botox). Both Jamie and Adele came up with a solution, which best suits my skin type. The experience was wonderful! I highly recommend Skin Sense Laser Aesthetics, and will most definitely do this again! Jamie is not only great and knowledgable in the world of wound treatment and scar prevention, she has the biggest heart as well. She is caring, generous, and brings a smile to the workplace. After a fall of my bike I had open wounds to my face , hands and knees Jamie gifted her tine and removed dirt and gravel with the easy peel machine ( not painful) and did the job they did not do in the hospital at the ER. It was surprisingly gentle, and I loved the spray she send me home with and a cream to help prevent scars. I healed up so quick Thank you so much Jamie♥️

I must begin by saying, words cannot describe how truly grateful I am to have found Jamie, though I will try my best to do so.Before finding Jamie @ Skin Sense Laser, I had spent over 10 years trying every different treatment, skin product money could buy moving from person to person, but no one could help me, nor could I find a product that made even the slightest difference. Even the dermatologist I was referred to by my family doctor was no help.Due to stress from my job, a skin condition attacked my face causing my skin to break open all over and massive inflammation built up under my skin. There wasn't a day or even a minute that went by where my face wasn't in intense pain. I have always been in sales & marketing in the face of clients and the public so before I could leave the house every morning, layers and layers of concealer and foundation had to be applied before I felt even remotely comfortable showing my face in public.I had almost given up and lost all hope when I came across Jamie & the Skin Sense clinic on Google and thought maybe their treatments might make a difference. I had an amazing experience. My first jet peel ever and definitely won’t be my last. Adele was super knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I walked out with the smoothest and freshest dewy skin. She made this stay at home mom look and feel fresh again. I will be back to book in with her again soon.

Jamie is the best for laser hair removal! She's an absolute pro and even helped me with ingrowns and maintenance on my legs where I wasn't having treatments. The progress on my unwanted facial hair has been so good I've added underarms to the mix. Wholeheartedly recommend her.

Everyone here is just so friendly and lovely! Jamie made me feel really comfortable throughout my laser hair removal, even though I’m pretty shy. Plus, I got great results! The location is easy to get to, parking is free, and there are Saturday appointments. Laser hair removal is going to be expensive no matter where you go, so being able to rely on the best experience, technology, and customer service is important. Choosing Skin Sense and Jamie is a no brainer!Also…yes, it stings a little in sensitive areas. But it is nowhere near as painful as waxing and any discomfort passes in seconds!
