The staff is super nice. The restaurant needs to be gutted and rebuilt. The food made me wonder if anyone knows how to cook. Ordered nachos which to me was made by someone who never seen them before. So wet with sauce it looked like a stew, barely any chips. The mixture was tasty but hardly any resemblance of veggies or cilantro. I really felt like offering to teach them how to make them.

We had a reservation for 715pm. We arrived early and waited in the line with other people also waiting with a reservation. After half an hour all the people behind us have been seated just because they are only accepting people with four seats. There are many tables for five or six people empty but the employees don’t want more people apparently. We told them we could split to sit faster. They don’t care. All people in the restaurant have sad or frustrated faces. Clearly service is terrible and the employees are also frustrated. Nobody cares. Worst place in Quebec. We just left to another place.

Waited in long for a long time with no acknowledgment. Then finally someone came walked by and I asked for a table for 13. We assumed he was getting it ready when he walked off. We continued to wait. At this point there was a huge line behind us. Another lady walked by and I asked about our table and she told us to go to the cafeteria across the hall even though we said we didn’t all have to eat together. But she was still not interested. And there were many open tables. We drove 30 seconds up the road to a very nice pub. Worth the short drive.

There's not much to say. You'd have to experience it to feel it.For the buffet, we get charged $33 per person, and there isn't much variety. The taste isn't that great as well.

Didn’t even get to try the food that people on these reviews say is apparently gross, service was extremely rude from the beginning about reservations and seating, not just with me but also with other families. Have a good attitude working with customers maybe this place would have more than 2 stars.

Tried to find vegan food in Village Vacartier after spending time on the slopes.Found only one place with a single dish.Even that was not up to the mark and the rice was full of vinegar and sour. Sent the dish twice and finally just ate it as no option for my 5 year old grand daughter.The fries and onion rings were also fried in the same oil which they used for frying chicken and fish.They had spaghetti but that was also with meatballs.It’s not Difficult to Cater to people dietary preferences and wished they could make food which is allergy free.Looks nice and kids friendly with the jungle theme but not for Vegan Vegetarian people.Would not go back.

Had both breakfast and dinner at Safari while staying at Valcartier and would not recommend. Overpriced. Fish and chips seemed like grocery store frozen fish! Service was good but doesn’t make up for the poor food. Would recommend driving down the street to Pub St Gab much better!

The food was awful and expensive. We were totally ignored by the staff till we got seated, our waitress was nice and tried hard, but needed basic knowledge on cutlery. Very little options at this resort for food. Very disappointed.

The food here was awful and it's expensive. The atmosphere is horrible and there were so many flies that we didn't even want to stay but unfortunately your options here are limited. I recommend driving back to Quebec for a meal. Took a nice picture of our friendly flies. Stay away!
