Fish Creek Provincial Park
It's really a huge park. It's hard to believe, but it a part of the city. There are a lot of good and comfortable trails to enjoy your walk. It's amazing place to relax and disconnect from city noise. Unfortunately, we didn't see a lot of wildlife.

During COVID we explored more of the city and having just recently moved to the south really enjoyed Fish Creek, lots of trails and interesting things to do with the kids.

Fish Creek Provincial Park
Ah yes. Good ol' Fish Creek Park. This is another Calgary classic. Great for walking, running, biking, bird-watching, fishing, picnicking, etc. It's surprisingly large. It's actually one of the largest urban parks in North America and the second-largest urban park in Canada. And it's the only provincial park in Calgary's city limits. Just one more reason why Calgary is the most livable city. Ever.

Fish Creek Provincial Park
Great place for a walk or a bike ride. The park features over 100 kms of trail, of which 60 are paved. Facilities at the park include a visitor centre, picnic shelters, group day use areas, Annie's cafe and the Bow Valley Ranche House restaurant. This park is also very popular for bird watchers. Many people also do there wedding photos here.

I always love coming to Fish Creek Park. So beautiful and peaceful. I wish we had more warm months so I could spend more time here. Little treasures of nature everywhere. The park where you can become a Disney Princess (look through the pictures to know what I mean by that) Peace and quiet and a great place for a birthday lunch with your kids.

Fish Creek Provincial Park
Fish Creek Provincial Park could be an essential green space that provides a refreshing getaway for locals, visitors & wildlife alike. The park boasts a diverse array of creatures, including deer, coyotes, weasels, & various bird, fish & amphibian species.Conducting robust consultative scans, community observations, inventories, directories, statistical & qualitative profiles, surveys & questionnaires can assist in ensuring that the park’s boundaries remain intact for current & future generations to enjoy & for the thriving of both humans & wildlife.

Took the bikes here and theres lots of nice trails with some great views. Not too challenging since there's not many big hills. We even saw a deer in the fields which was really nice.

Fish Creek Provincial Park
Another go-to for most Calgarians, Fish Creek is a great spot for a quick hike, a bike ride, or—in our case— a photo shoot. The park is always well maintained and offers the right mix of nature and convenience.
