As a car dealer, we buy cars all over Canada. We recently bought something in Ottawa and when we to pick it up, it was overheating and was not drivable to Toronto. Gil and his staff were amazing, helped our staff get the vehicle back to their shop (as it shutoff in a drive-thru), diagnosed the problem, fixed it for a reasonable price and had our staff back on the road by the end of business that day. Great service and friendly honest work.

Excellent work on replacing my muffler. Was clearly explained financial options of replacing or repairing. Replacing was my choice and am entirely satisfied with the work. A window from the office-waiting room to the work area allows you to see what is being done on your car. The staff is polite and helpful. Charged exactly the quoted price and much, much more reasonable than the dealer's. Will definitely recommend and use their services again.

I don't write many reviews, however you guys deserve a great one, my daughters Toyota Camry had holes in the exhaust. The gentleman that worked on it did a great job he cut a piece of pipe out and welded another in a few spots and did this for a great price. Our family Thanks you for helping us repair rather than just replace everything. I will be back again for sure and spread the good word about our experience.

Went to get my tired patched up, they did a terrible job. When I went back to do the oil change, I asked them to double check and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Ended up going to another garage that actually patched up the tire correctly.Edit:The prices they offer for services in general are hard to beat. Adjusting my score to 4/5 but very unhappy about the tire still.

It's Gil what more needs to be said. ? Always answered questions you had and shows you the issues you had and cAme in about and or the issue that it really is and wasn't. Always been very helpful calm quiet which makes things very stress free and more confident about the work being done on your vehicle.Need proof pick a certificate of many dozens on the wall all about his skills set about car mechanic certifications of many trades .Recommend

Honest and straightforward mechanic which is hard to find in this city. Does everything mechanical and safeties. Can get a little busy so there may be a wait. Been going to his garage for over a decade and feel like family. Service is amazing and he guarantees it. A+ mechanic.

I put a review a few months age and I would like to update it here as I can't comment to Gil Automotive reply. My previous review was 1 star , but this was based on a misunderstanding for which I would like to apologize. Gil Automotive provides honest service at very competitive prices and always consults the customer before doing any work. Gil is experienced and knowledgeable and I trust his expertise to fix whatever problem have with my car. I highly recommend Gil AUTOMOTIVE.

I had an exhaust leak in my 2014 Ford Flex and was thinking it was going to cost a fortune and take a day to repair. Gilbert and his crew of pro mechanics did a bang up job and I was back on the road in less than an hour and a half and for a fraction of what I thought it was going to cost.The fact that the wall in his office is covered with awards from Ford Corporation was reassuring.I will definitely be using his services again.
