Cara has a very calm and efficient way of working. She has been transforming my apartment from a cluttered mess to a serene, beautiful and more functional home. Cara has helped me to replace my wardrobe with prettier, more fashionable clothes. She has a very good eye for detail and has inspired me to create a fresh and more vibrant living space. She got the job done but I didn’t really appreciate the judgment from her part - after I asked her to help me sort through my clothes, she said “Why do you have so many clothes?” It was an odd question that I considered a bit unprofessional. I get you’re judging me but are you also trying to make me feel bad about it?! I was a bit turned off. Otherwise, the organizing was good and I saw results, but that stuck in my craw.

I contacted Cara at a low time in my life of house owner. We were confined, our basement had been flooded with all its material sent into storage and the lower part of the walls removed. I wanted to give it a new breath but did not know how to start. Cara was there for me! She reinvented my laundry room to give it a renewed look while keeping what could be saved keeping in mind costs and what would add value to our house. She is very creative, pays attention to details, is knowledgeable in what is available on the market. She also took the time, in these days of confinement and social distancing, to draw a model of what the rooms would look like once her plan realized. She asked many questions to understand the needs and then replied to several emails to ensure that what she was doing corresponded to my evolving understanding of what I wanted. I can only recommend her very warmly.

Cara is truly a passionate organiser and also has a calming presence. No task is too big.Feeling overwhelmed and anxious with stuff, I don't often have the motivation to even start.Cara is quite perceptive as well as she helped break down the clutter into smaller manageable tasks, such as paper clutter,and even gave me homework as a to do list since I work well with checklists. I still have a ways to go but I have since then kept it up thanks to her input.I highly recommend her !

Cara is amazing! She has been helping me declutter and organize my home step-by-step. She sends a plan of what she wants to do before she comes so it helps me to prepare in my mind what the goal is for each visit. She is non-judgmental, kind, flexible, honest, funny and sensitive to your belongings. There is no pressure to discard of something that you really don’t want to, however, she will help you to look at things from a different angle if you’re not sure what to decide. Cara is very helpful with providing hints and suggestions to keep you organized going forward. She even comes with little jobs for my 6-year old to do. It always amazes me how Cara attacks my many piles of boxes and toys and gift bags, tissue paper, clothes and shoes, etc, separates everything into piles and then you realize how much of everything you already have and we don’t even realize it. It puts things into perspective and helps you think twice before you purchase more “stuff” for your home. Thanks to Cara, I am starting to see my home becoming more of a calming and organized environment. I will still need her for awhile but she has truly helped me see clutter and messes in a less overwhelming way, helped me and my family with tips and schedules to keep our home organized and clean. She is exactly what my family needed and I’m so happy that we found her! I would highly recommend The Passionate Organizer. She takes pride in her work and you can tell that her aim is really to help you feel better in your home!

I asked Cara for help to organize my new place as we were moving from a 4-bedroom apartment to a 2-bedroom apartment. She helped us design and optimize our new space, unpack our belongings, organize them according to our needs, and bring our old stuff to a donation center. I’m so grateful for how kind, professional and patient Cara was. Moving out is a stressful experience and she really helped making it run smoothly.
