Staff and nurse are the best. The hospital is in need of repairs. The room my wife was put in after having major heart surgery. .Had a big chunk of Plaster missing from the wall right behind the bed..how do you sanitize that.Upper management should get their back side out of their ivory tower and tour the hospital. They might be in for a major eye opening.Another one that made me shake my head was..the man door entrance beside the revolving door never closed properly in the 6 days l visited the hospital.A simple adjustment of the door closer arm. Were was maintenance ?

today (Feb 14, 5pm) was my first visit to this ER room and it was very much better than the Grand River's. The nurses all seemed to be in a better mood and the young ER doctor was quite understanding and kind. The wait time was less than half of that of Grand river.Things I thought that could be improved though were how the young worker at the entrance of the ER room was just sitting there and staring at people who came into the room and selectively offering guidance. She didn't greet nor guide people as they came in but offered help only if one seemed completely lost. I thought she needed to be more proactive. Also, I didn't like how we had to speak of our personal information (address, phone number and medical info) in front of all the other patients in the living room. Lastly the initial waiting area were quite loud and hectic with hospital personnel walking into and through the area. Some were talking casual things very loudly as if the waiting patients didn't exist. One worker came with a buggy with her baby without a uniform and just went in and out of the triage nurse area like it's her living room.. Beside these minor things the visit was excellent and I appreciate the people who made it the way it is. Will come again, thank you!

Had a great experience today with the staff in the Nuclear Medicine department. Everyone was so pleasant, very welcoming. They made a stressful appointment to be very positive. Thank-you!

Amazing ED and medical imaging staff. Took my son to have his hand injury checked out today, and everything from arrival to triage, registration, physician assessment, and X-ray took less than an hour. Everyone was kind and pleasant. Results took a bit longer which is understandable, but with the cast application and the nurse going over discharge instructions, we were out of there in less than three hours total. Excellent care and experience.

I'm impressed with everyone who works at St. Mary. Looks like it's a very good workplace. From the security guards and intake to nurses and doctors, everyone is kind, polite, and professional. I received great care and am thankful to all staff. Great teams! Unfortunatelly, I had to go there several times lately. They do all tests quickly and answer to all questions in language I understand, as non-medical person. 5 out of 5 stars. Other hospitals should go there to observe and learn how it's done.

All staff at St. Mary's hospital were very nice and friendly. The front desk nurse was so kind (unfortunately didn't get her name) and she brought a blanket for my daughter as she felt cold. Dr. Nicholas Lant was very knowledgeable and kind. He takes time to listen and time to explain. Very satisfied with Dr. Lant and all the support staff.

Its heart day at st Mary's.i came in with a heart issue *heart palaptions and symptoms of heart attack .I was seen by first nurse described symptoms told to wait in room.i waited and withing seconds was asked to move I moved over I was again to move .I moved over again a third time I was asked to move for privacy. I did ,I then waited for a patient to be seen and then was hoping to be seen due to emergency I was having the nurse then proceeded to call 2 separate people to schedule them for tonights shift well I'm standing their gripping my chest . I was called up Immediate stated that the nurse should be registereing patients over staff scheduling issues prioritizedstaff of the emergency room patients. should never happen I was then asked to be queit and let her register me she aske me a question (have I stayed overnight in the hospital in the last (##)I responded no and only no nothing else .apperantly my response of no had to much tone and she told me to leave the emergency room or security will be called.i then called ambulance to the front of the hospital to take me to another hospital which they ran tests and deemed its an issues so I ended in awhole nother city *(cambridge)well having heart issues which EVEN now stuggling with this was today on heart day you turned away someone struggling with heart problems.when people talk about healthcare workers only working for a paycheck they mean hospitals like with workers like that . You can't take any constructive criticism whatsoever and punish the public for saying anything at any point with any tone because I was not rude this directly affected me and it's funny this is not the first story that this has happened recently and I do plan on making a deal about this like this cuz no one cared for the half an hour that I was struggling out front of this hospital with heart issues on heart day

My first visit to St Mary's ER, and I am so very grateful for the treatment I received. Every single staff member I encountered was efficient, polite, engaged, and caring. I walked in feeling shaky and scared, and walked out feeling I had been cared for, and confident in the things I had to do next. Intake, preliminary test, everyone who had to move me around, x-ray tech nurses... everyone was amazing. Thank you for your care and support.

We went to ER. The staff were very accommodating and eager to help our baby daughter. The team worked together to assess her and make her smile. Thank you for all you do.

Very happy with the staff at St Mary's hospital especially Dr Higgins and all the nurses in the cardio and cardio icu units. Dr Higgins performed a triple bypass surgery on my 70 year old father with no complications. It is now 6 months later and he's still feeling good and praising the job she did. Dr Higgins and staff, my whole family couldn't be more grateful to have you taking care of him. Kaz sends his thanks and wishes you all the very best.
