I never write reviews, but this was a horrible experience. As a university student without a car, it was very difficult to find time to make it to the clinic. The day I did, I left class and ran to the bus. The bus took longer than usual and I didn't arrive at the clinic until 4:25, but as I was having an emergency, I figured I'd ask them to fit me in. The door was already locked... I called the clinic and a very rude woman picked up and told me that she couldn't accept anyone else because they had too many new people that day. There were ZERO people waiting inside to be treated. The services I needed would be quick and simple. I explained my situation to the woman on the phone, who recommended I go to the ER over something that would be dealt with in like twenty minutes in the clinic. If they are going to turn people down when they arrive, they should have some sort of notification they can put on their website so people are aware if they're busy. As it is a no appointment clinic, I did not feel the need to call. I was extremely frustrated and think that for a YOUTH clinic it is very inaccessible. 1-5 PM only?! Youth aren't out of school until 3.. and for the services this clinic provides, it's unlikely that students can get their parents to excuse them from school. I will not be going back, I would rather pay.

The women working at this clinic were very rude and condescending. When I explained a situation that had happened to me regarding birth control I was told that there must be something I was leaving out of the story. One woman told me that they help people up to 22 years of age I am 21 and I was told by the second woman I could not be helped. It also states on the Fraser health website that ages 19-21 can receive up to 3 months of birth control free but the woman I spoke to said she could not help me and I have to go to a clinic even though I informed her of a negative experience I had at a walk in clinic. How do they expect to be able to make young people feel comfortable when they don’t provide a positive experience.

The worst clinic you can go to. If I give no stars I would. They have the most rude staff I've ever encountered, one of the nurses preaching that it was god's plan for me to have a miscarriage and I'm too young to be a mom. I'm 20. So many times I've been here they just treated me so bad, to the point where I go home crying. They refused to put me on the birth control I need due to a headache complaint 5 years ago. I've stopped going there and bought my own birth control now,They need to be shut down because they're just awfully rude and don't care about you.

Lost one star because it's extremely hard to find time to get to the clinic since they are only open from 1-5 a couple days a week but beyond that the service has always been amazing. They are very helpful and private and usually appointments go pretty quickly. I would suggest if you can, to get there earlier rather than later.
