They have been the best for me out of my 43 years of dealing with mental health issues.

Today (Friday, April 16th around 1PM) I spoke to one of your councelors/crisis line responders. It was a very unpleasant conversation which left me with more anxiety and helplessness than I had prior to calling your crisis line. It took me several months to call this number and ask for help. I don't even know if anybody at this place cares about any feedback, if this is a common practice there and if I should report it directly to them.

They do more harm than good. Everyone is a manager and they are only there to serve themselves...not the client. Client comes last at this agency. Stay away for better mental health!

I received significant help from my case manager. She was very patient and warm.

I had a casworker for a long time with this agency. I moved and was not informed that I could no longer access their services. There was no discharge email/letter etc. I was dropped without warning and only knew because I ASKED if I was still a client after not hearing from my caseworker for almost a month. THAT is how I found out. How is this okay? This made me change my mind about looking for another case worker.

Dmhs has taken steps to help me so far. More steps other clinics and other services. am mentally and physically unhealthy am hoping to get the help i need. Even though the set up for help is taking longer than i want. Atleast i am getting help from here rather than dmhs, Er lakeridge or Ontario shores. Cmha is the worst. Everywhere is limited and i dont feel like dmhs is using covid as an excuse to not do as much work as i felt at cmha. Dmhs is recommended by me cause they try to actually help

I did intake in August 2022. Had to wait for a worker to come back. We made an appt she never came to for Sept 9. I was left alone struggling. I emailed and asked the intake worker for another counsellor. Never got one. Now July 2023 I've struggled the last year with abuse from ex, VAW shelter, homelessness, family Dr hasn't seen me in years, severe anxiety, depression which I've been diagnosed with over 40 years ago but no counsellor, meds cut in 2017 by a new family Dr. Years of treatment down the toilet & this agency won't help as promised. Get a referral to a psychiatrist despite the long wait.

Hi my name is Daniel Rason I worked with Jennifer Smith from Ajax hospital with durum mental health for 2 year and a bit she was absolutely amazing I was at my worst I’ve ever been she was there I will never forget the day she came looking for me and take me to the hospital and did not leave until she New I was getting the help I needed she pick me up at 4:00 pm and did not leave the hospital till After 10pm she is a great person and really cares for people it as been about 6 months since i’ve been out of the care of Durham mental health I now have a full time job and doing amazing I want to thank Durham mental health and Jennifer smith for the great service
