Horizon Laser Vision Center

I really enjoyed the staff at Horizon! Not only were they pleasant before the surgery but they were so great with me the day of. I ended up freaking out right before my surgery because I was scared and they were wonderful. Talking me through everything and being super supportive with whatever decision I chose. I ended up doing the surgery and would 100% recommend it to anyone!

Everyone was absolutely friendly, professional, and helpful. I would like to thank Dr. Carolyn for her help and she was knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. Dr. Ravi is amazing physician who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond the call of duty to help patients. Dr. Ravi is extremely intelligent, informative and highly skilled surgeon. Highly recommended.

Went for a consult for laser correction. They did a couple quick scans and after about 15 minutes was told that rather laser correction I should have some other surgery that was over $10K! This really got my hopes down mentally. I decided to consult with other places. Well I went elsewhere and they did a full almost 2 hour consult which included the same scans but also a full on eye exam and more and I would qualify for advanced lasik for $4400. Well I just got my eyes done at this other place and I feel great and it was well worth it. Horizon made me feel like something was wrong with me, as well has wanted more than double and what they told me just didn’t add up. I’m glad I got second and third opinions elsewhere. Seems like a money grab here after only having a quick 15 minute scan.

The staff was great, very friendly and helpful prior to the surgery, especially Lisa and Dr Draude. I give the reduced rating because I found the surgeon had no compassion or consideration for the patient. My one eye didn’t get numb and was painful during the procedure making it nearly impossible for me to physically keep my eye still. The dr was angry and aggressive sounding and commented about it taking so long cause I “wouldn’t” keep my eye still. I keep being told it is necessary for the dr to be this way so the patients listen…as if it was my fault the eye didn’t get numb. I expect this happens every now and then but maybe a little compassion would have helped rather than blaming the patient.My eyes are nearly clear a day later, I love not having glasses. If there was another surgeon I’d recommend this place 100%, the rest of the process was decent.

We want to thank all the staff at Horizon for their wonderful care and kindness. They made my dad feel at ease with his procedure and answered all of our questions with patience and clarity. They genuinely care about their clients and want their experience to be the absolute the best it can be!

The staff is very professional and put my worries at ease! They explained every step of the process. During the procedure, the nurse beside me was so supportive and comforting. The actual procedure was so quick and painless. Dr. Ravi is awesome at his job, and his calm demeanour gave me peace of mind. The very next day I had perfect vision. The technology is simply amazing. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about it!

My experience at Horizon was quick, easy and convenient! I was amazed that the surgery took place on the weekend which was very convenient for me since I was travelling from out of town. They explained everything to me thoroughly so I was comfortable and the procedure was quick. I am very happy with the results this surgery has provided me!

After discussing my options regarding getting corrective surgery done on my eyes (I was -8 pretty much on both eyes), I was referred to Horizon Saskatoon. When arriving, I was always met at the reception desk with friendly smile. We did all our tests and found out I would be a good candidate for Smile. We booked a date and performed the surgery a month or so later. I was very pleased and happy with the information and feedback I got from them. Also very important was the great after care. Everything is arranged in detail and now have no complications and my vision is perfect. I have a very small astigmatism correction left but when I compare my eyes now with back then, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Great company, friendly staff from start to finish. Well worth it.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I was a little nervous going in but the surgeon and his team all helped to keep me calm and distracted. This was a welcoming, calm environment. I would definitely recommend Horizon Laser Vision Center to anyone looking to have corrective eye surgery.

Dr. Ravi and the other staff were all very calming and professional. Dr Ravi made sure to explain the steps to you and talks to you through out the entire process telling you that everything is going perfectly so you can try and relax. The healing process is smoother than I ever imagined! Best decision of my life! Totally worth the money!
