Good service - high quality of care

We were seen for an emergency with my 3.5 year old daughter who unfortunately had her eye scratched at daycare. The ladies on the phone were very helpful, were able to find us a spot last minute, the doctor was very gentle with my daughter, price was reasonable, and the whole thing was completed within 20 minutes including a prescription for eye drops.Grateful for the Centre Visuel Cardinal, highly recommend.

My mother is a senior and is in a wheelchair. The Centre and the staff were amazing! Today was our first visit and the service we received was excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Even though some were shy to speak English they tried their best and made us feel so welcome. They were very accommodating and if the equipment couldn’t accommodate, they went old school and did the exams by hand/eye etc. We had particularly great service from Dr Marcoux. She was professional, kind and clearly loves her job. Thank you to everyone who helped us today!

Both the optometry staff and the optician staff are thorough, efficient, and friendly. I'll receive my first pair of glasses from this business in a few weeks, so I'll find out how well their advice turns out. My wife has been a satisfied customer for years.

I normally have my eye exams done at their Buckingham branch as it is closer to where I live, but I have chosen my last two frames at this branch as they stock more models and colours of a brand that I like. Both opticians I saw were friendly, helpful and oh so patient in finding a colourful and comfortable frame that suits my face and can handle the thickness of my lenses.

Don't waste your time and money if you need a referral to an ophthalmologist. Because of a severe dry eye I had suffered from terrible eye pain for more than a week and my vision dropped drastically just overnight. The over counter eye drops I used to use didn’t work for me anymore and I couldn’t properly sleep during the whole week because of severe pain had to apply the drops every hour. I visited the centre for a referral to ophthalmologist. I was told that I needed to take a full eyes examination and it cost me $120. After this the optometrist told me that he couldn’t find anything serious and everything will be fine after I buy the glasses he prescribed. After long negotiations the optometrist agreed to send a letter to an ophthalmologist but warned me that it will be written that there is nothing serious with me and the ophthalmologist probably will not give me an appointment. After this I visited the hospital emergency room and the doctor immediately gave me an urgent referral to an ophthalmologist.

Toute la famille va chez Centre visuel Cardinal depuis quelques années et on a toujours un excellent service, de l'accueil, à l'examen jusqu'à l'achat de lunettes. Ils sont excellents avec les enfants. Nous avons également dû consulter pour des urgences et avons toujours été bien reçu et rapidement. Je recommande à 110%!
