went in to purchase a high chair. 3 workers at the counter standing around and not one acknowledged us. 3 others were busy, so we were checking out the high chairs on our own for a good 20 min till someone asked if we needed help. she was very short with us and when we asked how the high chair looked without the infant rocker (it literally just had the rocker on top, not even a seat), she didn’t bother to take the rocker off to show it. she just said it looks like these 2 other brands. it was close to closing time and i think she felt bad for being short with us that she became nicer and more patient. she offered more options but overall, just a really uncomfortable experience every time i come here, it’s been 5 times. i feel like i’m inconveniencing everyone when i ask one question. i could have been better with checking that they close at 6pm lol but seriously their customer service is always horrendous except for the one time i was looking at the uppababy stroller. i’d rather drive to the west side. beautiful store but not worth it. i met the manager, she was extremely unfriendly.

I had a very poor experience at the south common WCK location… the staff product knowledge is not acceptable. I visited the store in February with my mother and an associate began helping us with strollers. I was interested in learning about the Peg Perego Ypsi stroller and the sales associate knew next to nothing. They kept pushing me to use the stroller with the Mesa car seat when I had asked to see it with a peg perego car seat. They did this because they didn’t know how to use a peg perego car seat with the Ypsi stroller… finally they starting trying to fit the peg perego car seat on but they didn’t know which adapter to use. The associate I was working with called in another associate who, together, spent 10 minutes trying to figure it out. I eventually gave up on them trying when it was obvious they weren’t going to figure it out and I left super disappointed and with no more knowledge than when I entered the store.

I haven't shopped here but was hired by a client to shoot photos of the build and it's BEAUTIFUL! People are friendly and they have every gadget you can think of to make your life easier. If variety is on top of your list then this is the place for you!

I was looking for a cuddly blankie, baby monitor, night time turtle that sings and shoots lights on the ceilings and a double stroller or wagon of sorts. The one girl helped me find the blankie but if I had any questions I had to keep going to the till and would have to wait until 1 of the 5 people standing would look up from their phones or stop their conversations to help me. When they saw me half of them would scatter and disappear. After the 3rd question I bought the blankie and gave up on the other items. Very poor customer service. Heading over to buy buy baby to grab the items WCK couldnt be bothered to help me find. I came in friday(today) at 4:45.

BE AWARE! The store manager Kelly and customer service are extremely awful! I would give 0 star if I can. They refused to return DAMAGED item. I bought a $1000 stroller and when I back home I found there was a huge dent on the frame. I called manufacturer and they told me they can send me a replacement part. But I want to return it and get a new one. The manufacturer told me to contact the store then. I called the store after 2 days of purchase and the manager told me all items are final sale due to safety concerned. I checked the return policy on both my receipt and the website but failed to find written words mentioned strollers are final sales items. The manager asked me to forward the email between manufacture and me. It sounds she didn’t believe me AT ALL. She said she would not discuss with me about this issue until she got back from manufacturer. It is ridiculous I pay $1000 for a damaged product.

Had the pleasure of having Quinn assist me with my stroller purchase today. I had originally called ahead to see if the store had the adapters I needed for my Cybex and was told by another employee that they didn’t carry them and I’d have to go through the manufacturer … regardless I came in anyways and Quinn confirmed that the ones I needed were in fact in store and she helped show me how to assemble everything into my stroller. She also told me that some insurance companies will cover the cost of a breast pump which was an awesome tip I did not know! Had a very pleasant experience at this location. Quinn is a great example of great customer service, she was competent and took a lot of stress off me! Thanks again! :)

Awful customer serviceI went to West Coast Kids at South Common in Edmonton to return a bottle with straw I bought for my baby, and the customer service from the manager was extremely awful, she was so disrespectful and ironic telling me that she wasn’t going to accept the return because my baby was the problem, not the bottle, and I filled it with water.I could have accepted that she wouldn’t do the return because I used the bottle (of course I have to use it, because I needed to check the product before to give it to my son and realised that the straw was not comfortable and not easy to suck), but the way she used the tell me with an ironic big smile in her face that my son was the problem is simply disrespectful. How can a lady like that be the manager or boss in a place where you have to talk to people. It was so rude and I’m very disappointed of the service in the store. I used to buy in that place and now I do not want to be there anymore, not with that disrespectful lady there.

Today I went in to take a look at convertible car seats and I am glad I chose the WCK south location. My family and I were greeted promptly and then paired with an employee whom was free and able to assist with the search. This associates name was Krys and Krys was knowledgeable, patient, understanding as well as willing to take on the large task of finding a seat that best matched what I desired with what we could get to fit in my very tiny car. We had a lot of questions, and liked multiple product options. At no point did Krys make us feel like we were a burden, instead answered all of our many questions, guided us on all pros/cons and then helped us try multiple models out by hauling them in and out of the store to my car. We were successful in finding a perfect match and instead of stopping there, Krys went above and beyond to go as far as coaching me through the entire process of installing this new seat into my car. Krys made sure I understood every step, even ones I won't need until my little grows and we have to change the positioning. I am beyond grateful for the level of care and customer service I received today by Krys and would HIGHLY recommend anyone whom is in need of gear support to go and speak with Krys. Even if you don't buy, Krys is a wealth of knowledge and makes you feel comfortable and heard. This has been the best experience I have had customer service wise since having my little and beginning the journey of buying any and all baby gear/products this far.

This store has the cutest stuff, but the staff are always so cold and unhelpful. When I walked in, a woman greeted me and asked if she could help and when I told her I was look for a baby toque she said “ok” and then walked away. There was plenty of staff to help but no one addressed me as I was obviously searching for where the winter toques were. Even during checkout, a completely different employee also had no social skills. I like shopping places where staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone who works here acts snobby and like they hate their job. I try to avoid shopping here unless what I am looking for, I can’t find some where else.
