Ruth Lake Lodge Resort

This was our second time at Ruth Lake Lodge and once again we had the most wonderful time! France and Daryl are always around in case you need anything and incredibly welcoming. We spent our days swimming and canoeing and in the evening we could sneak into the garden for some fresh veggies to add to our dinners.The cabins have everything you need to stay comfortable, I loved waking up to the sound of the Loons in the morning. You truly are able to unwind and disconnect from the rest of the world.We will be making Ruth Lake Lodge a yearly visit for as long as we can!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in the Cedar cabin!The very comfortable and clean two bedroom cabin has a great little kitchen with all the things you might need for dishes and pots, a wood stove if you get chilly, a bbq on the deck, and a little fire pit looking toward the lake.France and Daryl were so welcoming and helpful telling us all about the area.It was great to swim in the lake off the dock and watch the minnows and dragon flies.Highly recommend it!If you are a horsey person looking for a great place to camp with your horses, there are a couple of paddocks on the property and lots of trails to ride around.

Ruth Lake Lodge is a beautiful place and so peaceful. My husband and I stayed in the Pine Cabin for 3 nights recently. Cabin had all the basic amenities plus many wonderful extras including towels, hand soap, paper towels, pillows etc. Daryl and France were amazing hosts and very friendly. We received fresh veggies from their garden every day, so delicious. We had a fun time on the lake and the fishing was good. Last night at the resort we saw a mama deer and her young one right outside our cabin. Incredible. I highly recommend this resort. We will return.

My husband and I stayed in pine cabin with our dog for a winter getaway. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host. The cabin was excellent! The cabin was fully equipped with everything we would need (excluding food and toiletries) and was clean. The grounds are clean and serene. I would recommend ruth lake lodge to anyone for an any time of year getaway.

When we arrived at Ruth Lake Lodge, we were warmly welcomed by France and Daryl, they were very helpful and gave us a lot of information for our stay. We stayed in the yellow cottage (called Pine), which is equipped with all necessary things (and more!). A gas grill on the terrace, a fireplace with plenty of firewood ensured that it was also very comfortable outside the hut.If you don't just want to enjoy the peace and quiet, you can do a lot, we have decided to take a trip by motorboat, exploring the lake and enjoying the abundant flora and fauna.We spent three nights in the Ruth Lake Lodge, the farewell was not easy for us. This stay was certainly the central experience for us on this vacation in Canada.

This is is there third year in a row that my family of fifteen people stay in the lodge. It is the perfect place for a family our size. We water skies, tubed, swing on the rope swing and caught some trout. It was very quiet and peaceful with lots of room for the children to play. We loved every minute.

We stayed in the Pine Cabin in late August. It was a return trip for us, having enjoyed a September stay in the Cedar Cabin the previous year. As other guests have mentioned, France and Daryl are very personable and helpful hosts, even to the point of putting food on our table (from their fine garden). The cabins are practical and very comfortable, with a covered veranda and a firepit (not that we could use it this year due to the fire restrictions) on the lake side. They are fitted out with the normal amenities required to cook meals, make coffee and read a book. Being kayaker and nature types, we mostly enjoyed paddling around the marshy end of the lake and the wilder northwest arm. The loon calls were amazing and it was interesting to see the beaver houses and even a muskrat. We loved the dark nighttime sky with all the stars. We also used the cabin as a base to explore the area, including the farmers market in 100 Mile House, and hikes at Canim Falls, Walker Valley and 108 Mile house. In other words, there was a lot to do that interested us. I expect we will be back.

We were looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy nature and we definitely found it here. The cabins are really well furnished and had everything we needed. France and Daryl were so nice, and even helped us fix a flat tire on our way out! We'll definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future.
