I have personally attended their gentle Hatha classes and also graduated from their trauma informed core training program to become a volunteer. I volunteered for APX 2 years and I had such an enlightening experience and learned a lot from their programming. They have such a wonderful organization!

As a yoga instructor and someone who has experienced trauma (as so many of us have in some way, shape, or form) I found the Yoga Outreach Core Training, learning how to apply the trauma-informed approach, to be such an obvious approach (well, it's obvious to me now!). It is applicable to classes in any setting, not just for non-traditional" settings. I now feel very aware of what challenges other people may be facing

Yoga Outreach training was absolutely fantastic!! I came from Calgary, Alberta for the course in Vancouver. It far exceeded my expectations. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and amazing. The content was superb and I have used it in my yoga classes I teach at Bow Valley College.

Such an amazing organization that provides yoga to those who normally could not access it, making yoga much more inclusive! The annual retreat was top notch and I highly recommend it - that is my kind of fundraising event" if you can even call it that! Very smart out of the box idea :)"
