Great little bistro with amazing views of the mountains.The Cobb salad was a little small but tasty. Later on, I had the burger which was spectacular.Friendly staff. Wonderful views. Great food and Pints. What’s not to love?

I was at the Banff Centre for several days and I have to say: MacLab had great service, atmosphere and food! Good gluten free (GF) options - I was pleasantly surprised to see GF chicken strips and fries on the menu! I had those for lunch one day (with sweet potato fries) and wow, not only are they delicious but the portions are huge. You may want to share it with a friend (sorry forgot to take a pic)! I also had the GF baked yoghurt from their grab-and-go menu for breakfast one day. One night I had the GF mushroom & truffle oil pizza - so good. Their cheeseburger was delicious. I had it with a side salad and was expecting some small, limp, iceberg lettuce deal but no! The side salad was fresh and tasty and there was a nice large serving of it. They have a cider on tap plus another available in cans for us GF folks. Two things would have pushed this to a 5-star review: availability of GF beer and having the grab-and-go menu available earlier than 11am.

Maclab Bistro was a fantastic detour from the main Banff town center. The views are beautiful and the restaurant was serene. Their menu includes a few unique offerings that are a bit upscaled. Everything came out excellent!

This place has absolutely gorgeous views and food. We had a basket of Korean fries with mushroom and truffle oil flatbread pizza and a side of Chickpea and corn falafel. Really tasty food with amazing sauces and toppings. They have nailed the blend of Asian recipes and spices with western dishes. I’d highly recommend trying out all vegetarian/vegan dishes at Mclab Bistro.We also enjoyed the decadent chocolate cake with a glass of fine wine at the end. The service was good. If you sit outside, expect slight wait times. There is a cute cafe in the restaurant itself that has great beverages.Overall, 100% must visit place in Banff.

The view was unbelievably amazing, and some of the food was pretty good, but the vegan hamburgers were terrible. The bread was like cardboard.

Excellent experience as always, I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid and the quality has stayed the same. Great food and good prices for such a beautiful view!

Unique takes on standard fare using local ingredients. It was so good I ate here twice in the same day. Great variety of burgers, salads, poutines, and flatbreads. Service was good, but a bit slow due to being busier than expected and understaffed.Can’t beat the views!

This is a hidden gem in Banff! Great view from the patio, friendly staff, very quiet, no traffic around and good food. Relaxing compared to downtown!
