Giant Tiger

We were visiting Saskatoon from Alberta and stopped in to look for the Buttermilk Chicken pieces we can't get at the AB locations. We were pleasantly pleased to find out that they are still carrying them in SK. We picked up as much as we could safely transport back with us.

The staff is always very pleasant to see whenever I have to get things from here, except for 1 of their staff which ALWAYS tries to acuse me of stealing every sick time I go in and that's very annoying, especially when I pay for all my merchandise! That's the only stipulation that I have with this location. Other wise, it's always a pleasant experience when I come here!

I stopped in last night 10 min before closing. It has been years since I went to a giant tiger and I was blown AWAY at all the cute things they have!!! And at such affordable prices!The two cashiers working were very nice. One taller man was very outgoing, joked around a little, about how he believes “visa” should be pronounced (lol) and just had an all around good attitude. Which I am sure can get tricky to maintain dealing with people all day long especially at this location. Even when he came over the intercom to give the 5 min before closing announcement, he had energy in his voice and didn’t sound like he hated his job or hated his day. Kudos to that man. He made my experience one to remember.

I havent been in years and was very surprised! They actually have some good items from every department and not as crazy big like wm....easy access and really decent prices on items. The bread is awesome...its rye..blue label. I feel GT does try to cater to the people and let them leave the store with money still in their pockets. They have nice quality things. The quality is worth the value they charge. They have good folks who shop to supply the stores with neat items for good prices!

Very clean and organized store. Reasonable prices. Staff go out of their way to help you.

They don't have a lot here, but they have enough. I definitely will not buy fresh meats nor fresh vegetables. But other than that have everything from Soup To Nuts, so to speak. And their prices are reasonable. The one problem I have had is some items are in their flyer but they never ever have them in their store.

I have been a customer of this store for more than 4 months. Discounts on some products are lower here than in other well-known supermarkets. Friendly staff. They always try to ensure that there are no delays at the checkouts.

I frequent this store for odds and ends as it’s close to my work. Has a bit of everything! However today I came in and my service was exceptional - the staff member at the till went above and beyond to help me find something and had the best attitude I have seen in a retail store like this in awhile. He was so cheerful and happy to help everyone. Guy deserves a promotion! Keep up the good work.
