We had the pleasure of working with Shaughn for most of all our fittings. As a new parent, I was so worried about going through with the process however we are so glad we did! Shaughn was professional, responsive, thorough and easy to work with! I highly recommend the experience and am so amazed with the results!

These people are so caring, responsible, on time and most importantly knowledgeable. We have been referred to them by Children's Hospital Neurosurgery department for my son's craniosynostosis after surgery helmet treatment and worked with Shaughn. He was so good and patient with my 4 months old baby boy and always gave us good advices for his helmet.

We were referred to Carl at Hodgson by BC Children's Hospital for back braces for scoliosis for both my daughters. It has always been a very easy, positive experience which has helped my daughters with their situations. Carl is extremely experienced and the results have been incredible. His skill at making the custom braces, working collaboratively with their Doctor and physiotherapist, and communicating with us has been excellent. One of our daughters' curves was very significant and she has avoided back surgery because of his skills.

We were referred to Hodgson Orthopedic Group from Children's Hospital. Our son had plagiocephaly that was corrected with a cranial helmet. Shaughn did all of our son's fittings for his cranial helmet. Shaughn was always quick to get back to me with any questions and concerns throughout the process. The appointments were sometimes long but thats because Shaughn always ensured the fit was perfect and there was no rubbing/ any issues. Thank you for your kindness and helping round out the noggin!

We were referred to Hodgson Orthopedic Group by the OT at BC Children’s Hospital to treat our little girl’s plagiocephaly. We first met Yvonne, who was so kind and informative and helped us start the process of getting our daughter a helmet. Our initial fitting was with Shaughn. He was super approachable and knowledgeable and made sure our daughter’s helmet was the perfect fit before we left. Having a child in a helmet while living 10 hours away from your orthotist came with its challenges at times, but both Yvonne and Shaughn were always available by phone/email to provide tips and tricks and reassure us. Our daughter started out in the severe plagio category at 5 months old, and we can happily say we were able to round out her noggin to almost perfect by 11 months old. We would not have had those kind of dramatic results without Hodgson Orthopedic Group!

Great service and communication from the beginning. They helped guide me through what was needed for my extended health coverage before I bought the brace. Carl made me a custom brace for my elbow that was kind of new to all of us. The brace turned out really well, it fits great, and Carl made sure that it was comfortable for me. The brace serves it's purpose, and so far it's holding up well. Thanks Carl for being open to trying something new, and your close attention to detail.

During 6-month support that we experienced in Hodgson Orthopedic Group, we found them professional, and supportive. They communicated with us whenever we needed some help, and tried their best to help us. We also had experience in both location, Coquitlam and Surrey. Both locations had a supportive and professional atmosphere.

We were fortunate enough to have Shaughn work with our baby for his plagiocephaly. Shaughn took care to explain the process and progress to me along the way and had a wonderful way of working with our little guy. The results from the head shaping helmet were incredible.
