My father resided at |Norfolk Manor for his last three years of his life. He loved the place, caring staff, and he felt within a close connection to all. David and Lisa are exemplary as care givers and my wife and I are forever grateful to Norfolk Manor staff for the care provided.

My Mom was fortunate to call this place home for many years. Not only was the staff exceptional at providing wonderful care, they really treat everyone like family. To us, this made the world of difference, knowing that our Mom was in a place that was safe and homey and there when she needed help. We felt good knowing that she was eating homemade meals 3 times a day in the dining room surrounded with laughter and conversation. She absolutely loved the food -- Fish & Chip Friday was her favourite day of the week or Tammy's homemade pasta. Mom also really enjoyed the activities that Dawn planned -- there was something for her to do everyday -- playing a game of cards, musical entertainment, arts and crafts -- she really loved it all. A great big thank you to all the staff and volunteers for taking such good care of my Mom while she was at Norfolk Manor!!

I can't say enough about the wonderful life Norfolk has given my mother in the 15 years she has been there. It is a family home, not an institution, from top to bottom. I recommend it to anyone looking for a retirement home for themselves or their loved ones.

When it was realized my oldest sibling required assistance following his stroke, many family members were thankful Norfolk Manor agreed to welcome him. We see he has accepted his new home and he enjoys the good homemade meals. He’s familiar with Guelph and enjoys time outside. He enjoys entertainment, music and conversation.David, Lisa and the Norfolk staff want the residents to feel comfortable and cared for. Thank-you!

We found Norfolk Manor by accident when our Mom was coming out of the hospital and needed senior living that could provide a little extra help. Mom loved it so much the few months became over 5 years and she absolutely loves the place. The food is incredible, staff are like family and the small number of residence makes it an incredible spot. Its like living in a olde world European hotel as Mom describes it.

My Step Father enjoyed a few brief stays here when my Mother needed a break from caring for him. After her passing Paul became a resident here because of his earlier great experience with Norfolk Manor. The staff were friendly, courteous and made every effort to see to the comfort and excellent quality of life he enjoyed. I would highly recommend Norfolk Manor to anyone who wants to live in a secure, safe and friendly community.

I have been volunteering here for 12 years and when my father needed a place to go for respite he went to stay at Norfolk. My father couldn't believe that he would be treated with such empathy and respect and really praised the staff and care he received there. He also said the food was delicious and every time I go in I can smell the wonderful smells coming out of the kitchen. David, Lisa and Dawn as well as the rest of the staff are wonderful with the residents and their care is the top priority. I have enjoyed my time here helping with the many activities that are offered.

It has been almost 4 years since we moved my mother to Norfolk Manor and everyone involved could not be happier. The care, compassion and attention to detail that David and his staff have afforded to Mom during her time their is impressive. Mom is treated like a family member and she has a perpetual smile on her face because of it. The excellent meals provided by Tammy and her staff, the care from Tawnya and Sheila is wonderful and Dawn's regiment of fun activities make sure that every resident is active, stimulated and cared for. It is one of the best decisions that I ever made for my Mother.

Norfolk Manor has been my Mom’s home now for 5 months. Her move was made easy by the professional and caring staff. They have been a huge support to our family. Mom loves the food and has made many new friends. I cannot say enough about the excellent level of care my Mom receives. David, Lisa, Tammy and Sheila are a tight knit team that care for their residents with kindness and respect. It is a comfort to me knowing my Mom is happy and getting the best care possible. Our mom has been living in Norfolk for about 3 years to this review. David, Lisa and the staff are most dedicated. They just got through a Covid outbreak in the home. With good leadership, staff care dedication and hard work they brought the home carefully to the negative with no further cases. They continue to carefully ensure the environment and the residents remain healthy. If family caregivers have any concerns or questions Norfolk ensures action is taken and questions are answered. They treat and care for our mom where the family feel confident that this is a good fit.
