I have had an extremely frustrating ordeal with Penticton Hyundai. What started off as a good experience quickly went downhill. They were great to take my Palisade off my hands though.They were not upfront about the length of time it would take for my new vehicle to arrive. A lot of running around in circles and lies. Their sales team keeps changing and then the General Manager even changed in the course of the time we had been waiting.We were told a vehicle would be available to us in September (after a whole fiasco with trying to get a hybrid vehicle with them, which failed). The next vehicle was supposed to come in September 2022 but did not arrive until January of this year. The vehicle was delivered to us with an empty tank of gas, dirty exterior and a cracked part under the hood.We were told that a new, replacement part would arrive to us by end of January. It is now May.I have reached out numerous times and have received little to no responses. My latest response was that I would receive a cheque for the empty task and that someone would look into the replacement part. No cheque has arrived nor an update on the replacement. I sent another email with an update and have yet to hear a response.I highly do NOT recommend this dealership. Worst experience ever. Absolutely no customer service.

I have nothing but great reviews for the sales staff at Penticton Hyundai! They are efficient and personable!However, my experience with the front desk service staff is a completely different story. I have called numerous times on different occasions and my calls have not been answered. I left voicemail messages and also asked the receptionist on a couple of occasions to provide a message for someone from the service desk to call me back. Unfortunately, even then I did not receive a call back and ended up going to the dealership to get the service I required. I don't think that I am alone in having to deal with this frustrating experience!!

Incredible staff and service! Would recommend this place to anybody in the Okanagan looking to purchase a vehicle. I came from Kelowna, and it was the best decision I could have made. I was looked after every step of the way, and was provided with a pressure free, relaxing, and personable experience. They truly went above and beyond and made it so I was able to drive away in my dream car ( which they brought in for me all the way from the coast )! If you are thinking of buying a car from Penticton Hyundai, be sure to micro-manage the process. My friend bought her 2023 Venue and had it delivered to Burnaby. Mike made and sent a video of the wrong Venue. Then the documents had the wrong odometer reading and deposit amount. Then the car was delivered with no documents. It took 4 more days for the documents to arrive so the vehicle could get insured. Other than that it's a nice vehicle.

I found a car on the website I liked, but it sold by the time I was able to look at it. I had issues getting financed in the past, so I got a pre-approval before looking for a different vehicle. With a pre-approval, the shopping was so much easier, and I was able to get into a much nicer car than I had. The whole process took less than 24 hours, while in the past, it sometimes took a week to get approval after I found a car, and more often than not, I didn't get approval on a car I wanted. Everyone at Penticton Hyundai was helpful, kept me informed, and had good communication. Shout out to John S in sales who helped in choosing the right vehicle for me.

This has been the best experience buying a car with Hyundai by far ! Mike Eaton was very knowledgeable about the vehicles there, kind and knew just what I wanted based on my interests. Not pushy is any way just extremely helpful with his knowledge of vehicles. I walked out extremely happily and appreciate the great customer service the Hyundai dealership has to offer ! 10/10Thank you Mike !
