Cloud 9 Ranch

Most awesome experience in spite of chronic pain, concussion issues after a head on vehicle collision and limited horsemanship. Much was learned about horses which taught me much about myself. Poor Squirt, when my energy was low he responded in kind. Loved the horses, being able to saddle up and put Squirt back in pasture after the lesson. Trainer was very professional and helpful - she even had to lift my leg over the saddle so I could dismount after stiffening up during the lessons.

Giving 2 stars as we did enjoy the vaulting lesson. However, minimal safety measures in place (ie no helmet, no waivers signed) and now fighting Ringworm not only on myself, but on the pets I have at home, from handling the kittens in the barn. Couple hours of fun has resulted in weeks of ringworm treatment and $340 vet bill

I have boarded my horse here all this winter. There are many other horses here. Along with mine, they are in fine health, which proves overall great monitoring. Hay is plentiful and is of very good quality. Ranch buildings and fences are well maintained. Owners are easy to talk to and obviously enjoy their work. Ranch dogs are super friendly. I have deducted 1 star because while the ranch offers several training sessions, I have had no opportunity to participate in or witness any of that yet, so it is not for me to talk to that. Overall, though, I know my horse is in a great place!

My daughter has been going for lessons here for approximately 3 years. She absolutely loves it. Tara and Kinsey are fantastic and very knowledgeable. I have seen a difference in my daughters self esteem, mental health and overall well being. They show patience yet sometimes stern guidance all in the goal of protecting the rider and the horses. Highly recommended and we look forward to many more years of lessons to come!

The equine therapy helped me grow and heal through trauma that I didn’t understand. I love these people, horses, and I love this place!

This ranch has been such a safe haven for so many people! Tara and the staff are great instructors and so helpful. You can really feel how much they care about each indiviual rider. My daughter has done a mix of both camps and lessons here since about 2016 and it has been nothing but a great expirence. I love that Tara pushes my daughter in such a postive way to challenge her so she sees what she is capable of and learns so much about herself. I could not possible recommend a ranch more than Cloud 9!

One of the best therapy experiences ive had. Though im always slightly uncomfortable when there are two humans listening to my problems. Having the horses there and seeing them react and even try to console you is an experience that anyone suffering from mental health issues should try at least once. The second person is the handler for the horse, and she interprets how its reacting to you, so she is a necessity, she was also wonderful and non judgmental of course. Unfortunately, i was in need of a psychologist so i didnt continue going, however that should speak volumes of the crisis i was in that i just turned to the first place i saw that would help me.I would like to also add to this, that i have tried several counselors and therapists, i did go to this one willy nilly, and lucked out. I have had and know what bad ones look like! In case there were questions as to how helpful this is when its stated in the review that i just took the first one that would accept me!

My daughter enjoys lessons, and camps at Cloud9. She needs extra patience with directions. The staff and Tara are very accommodating to her needs. Thanks to Cloud 9 she can explore her intrests in horses.

Our girls love their time at cloud 9, the riding lessons have been amazing! The HAY program for teen girls on Tuesday nights is incredible. The girls love coming and interacting with others as well as the horses, dogs and cats. It is an awesome place for teens!
