Auntie Pesto's
We recently had dinner at Auntie Pesto’s which was excellent. We sat in the outdoor section overlooking the harbour which has both glass screens and heaters and we really enjoyed the view. I had the lime Chili prawns to start and then the fresh halibut with an arugula pesto followed by the most indulgent key lime pie. I will certainly go back again.

Pretty decent pasta place for lunch and dinner. They have both lunch and full portions for their pastas.Quality of the food is good, I would recommend the vegetarian lasagna as well as the seafood pasta, both are fantastic choices.Great view from the patio of the harbor and beach, not many umbrellas out in the patio, so you'll get burnt during the afternoons. Plenty of parking in this complex as well as the downtown core,Attentive servers, however, I found service on the slower side.Despite being on the dog friendly website, i would say its not that dog friendly, they can only sit you outside but your dog has to be on the opposite side of the patio, which has a full covered wall. Not really their fault, but just raising awareness.

Visited Auntie Pesto's with my wife to celebrate her birthday dinner. Our server had only been working for a few weeks I can't recall her name, however her knowledge of the menu was very in depth.She recommended a few items for us, and we decided to go with what she suggested. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing. You can taste the freshness. I ordered the beef stroganoff, my wife enjoyed the seafood dil Alfredo.Whenever our glass was empty, our server was quick to top it up. The views from our table were breathtaking, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, a perfect romantic experience.

The food here is absolutely other-worldly. So good! My wife and I have had about a dozen of the various appetizers, entrees, and desserts across all of our visits here and we have always been ecstatic with how they've come out. Phenomenal ingredient quality, well prepared meals, very reasonable prices, and the server that we've had every time (I believe her name was Janne, or something similar) is amazing at her job. 10/10 recommend this place if you like delicious food.

This is a Sleeper, looks like a nice diner but I would classify it as fine dining. Incredible food and the prices come with large portions. Beautiful ambiance, the art and music were on point, there's incredible seaside views if you're looking for it. The flavours all meet their mark and some were arrow splitters. The duck confit was a hearty bowl that was fresh and exciting. French onion soup was everything I wanted. meatballs pair perfectly with the garlic focaccia but I could have used for the second piece of focaccia. My favorite was the deep fried olives with amazing sweet slices of fresh local pickles, huge portion. Couldn't ask for a better tiramisu and the key lime pie was very tasty and a little bit of coconut in the graham crust was just right. We did a drop in and they said what tables they had for how long which the transparency was perfect.

I love this place. Whenever my family come to Salt Spring, we eat at the restaurant. The food is awesome! I had the seafood dill alfredo and husband had the Roma pasta with meatballs. They were both amazing!!However, it took a long time for someone to come to our table and ask if we were ready to order and it took longer than an hour for our food to arrive.

Fell in love with the halibut cakes, and it was all pleasantly uphill from there.A truly wonderful dining experience. Everything was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. Attentive, friendly, welcoming and very, very yummy.

Auntie Pesto is one of my favorite restaurants on the Island. The staff are super friendly, and the food is incredible. I loved their duck confid and wild sockeye salmon filet.

So yummy! Very busy, definitely make a reservation, even in the off-season. Service was impeccable, the wine selection is excellent, and the food was very yummy. Portion sizes are big, and dessert looked amazing even though we didn’t have room. Clearly a local favourite, which always bears well and did not disappoint!
