Metro

Today is their grand reopening. The store does look nice. No one greeted me or smiled, but there were probably 30+ people in suits. They didn't move when I was trying to get by them or look at products. Just stood in my way, not smiling, as if I didn't exist.Cashier didn't even say hi. She was rolling her eyes and huffing.Did not feel like a valued customer. It's 5 min from my house, but I will never go there again. I'd rather go to the cheaper store and be snubbed.

Went for groceries. Store looks nice but there is no express checkout so those who prefer to use a a human cashier were lined up several deep. The vast self express checkout was open. However I had several items that had no price. I discovered I have to look up the price on myself. They have even replaced duties of stock person as well as cashier. Loss of jobs. I will not shop at Metro again.

I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's birthday, and I was told I can pick it up anytime after 1 pm the following day, when my son-in-law went to pick it up; first they couldn't find it or the cake, then they said they couldn't find the order form, so that I couldn't have called and placed the order. (Then tried selling on a more expensive cake). Another employee came over and asked if there was an issue... the situation got explained moments later the second employee went and mysteriously found my daughter's cake within less than a minute. When my son in law got home with I noticed immediately that it was lop sided and uneven, the writing on the cake was smeared, there were balloon toppers that were placed on when was not requested with order. This was supposed to be my daughter's 19th birthday cake. We are all happy the cakenwas found but very disappointed with the turnout of the cake.

Bakery items are amazing. Fresh vegitables and farm items. Also wine shop is in store.

Newly renovated Metro stores in oshawa. Really nice and affordable for shopping,it has a great customer experience. Come shop with metro oshawa.

Placed a pick up grocery order yesterday. Customer service inquiring on a product yesterday over the phone to the store AMAZING!Today, young man named Scott brought out my order. I was a pain and asked for 2 minor modifications and he accommodated no problem.I would HIGHLY recommend shopping at this store whether in person or using the pickup service. It's free! All product was perfectly picked fresh as could be! A grocer that is happy to serve their customers and proud of their productsThanks for the great service. I will be back!

Always a pleasant experience there. I wish they were still open 24/7, but covid killed that by driving up costs. I wish I didn't have to do a gluten free diet anymore, because their store made pizzas are honestly one of the best. If you haven't tried them before DO IT!!!!

I like the new changes to metro but it's not as nice now that the entrance way has changed so drastically. You used to be able to walk in and out. Now in order to get out you have to walk all the way around the cashiers.

Decent place for groceries. Slowly completing renovations so everything looks better but the prices have kept me away from here for a while. If they had more organic options and sales, maybe I would visit more often.
