Butler D Dr

One of the most rudest receptionist I have ever met. She has her own opinion, never listen to us, takes forever to answer calls, bad communication skills. I wonder why Dr Butler never see these online reviews about her. Dr Butler is a good Doctor at the same time she has worst receptionist in her clinic. She even locks the door and never takes calls during clinic hours when Dr Butler not in the clinic. Hope Dr Butler get rid her of soon for people convenience.

Dr Butler delivered my daughter via emergency c section April 29 2021. I was very impressed with Dr Butler’s demeanor and knowledge. She was always calm and collective with her thoughts. She reassured me that everything would turn out fine. I feel so blessed to have my healthy daughter. Thank you Dr Butler.

Literally posting here as an attempt to get in contact to book an appointment. Have been calling for a week now at all different times of the day to schedule an appointment after I was referred to Dr. Butler after I missed her call. If the mail box is not already full the machine will answer that they are closed when in fact it is the date and time they said they would be open. There is no other form of communication, I even contacted my family doctor to see if they had anything but they have the exact same phone number as what is displayed here. In a time where contact needs to be reduced I should not have to resort to thinking about going inside the actual clinic to book an appointment that they are aware of that needs to be scheduled. My advice, don't miss her call I guess, or do anything in your power to be referred to someone else if you do. Such a shame since she is so highly talked about when you can get an appointment. Hope she sees this.

I had a great experience with Dr. Butler with an endometriosis surgery and two sections. She was always there to answer and questions and help with concerns and was always on top of follow up appointments. I also see her to get the depo shot and she is usually on time with me but have been late too. Would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Butler is extremely knowledgeable. This is my first pregnancy and I was nervous to go to my first appointment with her because I did not know what to expect. She made me feel very comfortable.She is very professional. I look forward to my next appointment with Dr. Butler.Her receptionist is also very sweet and welcoming.I definitely recommend Dr Butler to any expecting mother.

Dr Butler is great, but the receptionist is horrible. She talks over you, never answers the phone, (and when she does, she talks over you so you can't get a word in edgewise, then hangs up on you and doesn't answer the phone again) and schedules you at three different times for an appointment. She told me 'time and day one', my family dr 'time and day two' and then when I went in, driving from another town, because she hung up on me, she said my appointment was a completely different time and date. This was my post Partum check up and she then demanded I wait until I was 4 months post Partum. ('Some people wait six months before making an appointment, you know' she said) Thankfully dr Butler came out and fixed her mess up. Now I'm trying to get a hold of them again to book my pre op and, again, no one is answering the phones. When I mentioned I can't sit and wait for 1.5 hours for my appointment due to my son getting out of school, (I live in another town) she said I need to EXPECT a wait time of 1.5 hrs after my scheduled appointment time. I have tried going to a different obgyn, being referred by my family doctor, but I am refused because I am dr butlers patient. I am stuck with a dr I can't even book an appointment with. I have never heard anything negative about Dr Butler, it's always about her rude secretary. I shouldn't have to call multiple times a day, for multiple days, for a CHANCE of the phone getting answered.

Dr. Butler is great and that’s why we are using her service again during second pregnancy. However, this time, this new receptionist seems to be not understanding her role here. I think, taking calls from patients became here the least priority. I usually never write negative reviews but we can not take this anymore.We are not sure yet, what complications we are going through yet, so Dr Butler asked for another diabetes test in very short notice. My wife asked for the paper/email requisition. This receptionist said that she will fax to the life lab office so that all life lab will have that and we can pick any location in KWC. Sounded great but still my wife asked for a copy just in case but she was turned down very rudely. So, on the day of test, she fasted, (just FYI, my wife can not sit or stand for more then 20-25 mins) and we went to the life lab and guess what, there is no requisition sent at all. Just to verify there is no glitch in life lab system, we went to another location and they also verified that there is no requisition for the patient.Of course, we could not reach them even through I tried calling 50 times in whole day. Dr. Butler, if you are reading this, please bring your previous receptionist. We can not take chances like this.

Dr. Butler herself is very kind but she is in the office only one day a week as told by her receptionist. I have faxed over a subscription refill 4 times over the duration of 2 months and it was never refilled. We are talking about a medication that needs to be taken in a timely manner.I have called the office at least 10 times during different times of the month. When I finally reached the receptionist, she said there is nothing she can do" and that "she's new here". This is inexcusable as we are talking about medication. The receptionist would not even make a note to give to the doctor and she promptly hung up on me."

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Butler on shift at the hospital the night I went into labour. She was calm, decisive, and very knowledgeable in an emergency situation. She saved my life and my daughter’s. As I sit here bouncing my toddler on my knee, I am forever grateful for skilled surgeons such as her. Yeah it sounds like from the other reviews her receptionist isn’t the best.. but is that really how you want to judge your doctor?
