Northern Ranch Live Edge

I had the displeasure of working with Northern Ranch when I went to them looking for live edge material to build my first river table. I regrettably agreed to buy two slabs that were supposed to be of sufficient quality for a river table, and apparently highly sought after.After I paid the deposit, I had some doubt and I spoke with a few people, including legitimate live edge suppliers, and I started to question whether the slabs they sold me were in fact adequate for my project. Knowing that all sales were final, I asked if I could exchange the slabs for higher quality slabs and I offered to pay more. This is when Northern Ranch became extremely unprofessional and unreasonable and started to demand that I pay the balance of the amount owed, and to pick up the slabs asap. I declined and started to raise multiple concerns regarding the quality of the slab, including the material’s moisture content, which they refused to prove.To date, Northern Ranch has kept my deposit and both slabs, and are no longer in communication. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they’ll say anything to offload their low-quality product.
