I recently closed on my very first home. It was all possible because of Steven and most importantly Vicky who was working on my file. Vicky was constantly in touch with me for the past month and updating me on every step of the way. We used SJC financial in December 2021, be very careful as these guys are shady, They suggested using a few borderline facts for our mortgage application, claiming there won't be any issues, only to find out later that that was the reason our mortgage got rejected. This was partly our fault for thinking that was a good idea. The lender backed out 10 days before closing leaving us no other option but to go private with ridiculous fees and terms. In the end we were the ones to take the hit while the brokers have nothing to lose and walk away with their 3k profit..

As first time home buyers, we didn’t really know the process at all. Steven was there to help us during the whole process. From getting the pre-approval to putting an offer in to securing the mortgage. He was very patient and understanding - answered all of our questions (and there were a lot!) Great customer service - his team is incredibly responsive. We got a very competitive interest rate and we closed on time thanks to help from his team.
