We have had the privilege of dancing at JLSD for over 10 years. It is a true dance family. Our entire family feels supported and guided through our daughters dance journey. She has flourished at JLSD. The team are supportive, knowledgeable and are working with each family to create strong, confident leaders of tomorrow.

My daughters have both taken lessons at JLSD and the teachers are the best, June is great, and this has been a very supportive and encouraging environment all around, to help build confidence and be part of a team. I have truly valued the friendships and memories we have made with the other dance families, too.

We enrolled my daughter (5) with June Lawrence dance studio and we couldn't be happier. We've completed 1 full year (Sep-Jun) and she did Creative B (tap and ballet). During COVID-19 the studio was extremely safe and always had everyone's safety as a priority. There were times when my daughter was sick or had a symptom but she was always able to participate with the virtual zoom class. The studio is extremely organized and there is very good communication with weekly emails. We were impressed with the year end recital. It was quite a production at the Living Arts Centre. It wasn't too long and lots of variety of dances and there was a bit of humor too! There were awards given and I can see that the studio really cares as the awards were given to not only the best dancers but those that have improved. We are looking forward to next seasons dance program.

Way less value for the amount of money charged. Is it a school ?! Treat you like one (vacations, days off , extra charges, tuition fees and payment conditions graduation irrelevant activities) make sure you know about it all before you get into this. It’s not worth it in our opinion. We and few of other friends decided to drop out . Disappointed

My daughter has been taking class at JLSD for many years now. She really loves it. The staff is welcoming and professional. It is a real dance family! I would recommend this studio to anyone!

Went here when I was 4-8 and ended up having to go cause of moving, but my experience was amazing.The teachers are all really professional and friendly and they teacher really well. The performance day is at an actual community center stage from what I remember and it would always be a blast performing on stage.Overall, if your children want to learn dance, this place is definately recommended from me!PS:June is literally one of the nicest people you'll ever meet :D

I can't speak highly enough of the adult dance classes offered at June Lawrence School of Dance. I have felt welcomed and part of the dance family from the moment I joined 3 years ago and can't wait to get back to class week after week. June is a phenomenal instructor with extraordinary amounts of passion for what she does, which she passes on effortlessly to the rest of the faculty she has working alongside her at the studio. Highly recommend this studio for adults who are just starting out or are looking to get back into dance again!

My daughters, 9 and 6, have been a part of JLSD for the past 2 years. The office staff, Mrs. Lawrence and the teachers are truly amazing! They are all so kind, caring, encouraging, supportive and very approachable. Ms. Traci and Ms. Matti have inspired my daughters to LOVE dancing! The girls have asked me to enroll them in more classes this fall. Thank you Mrs. Lawrence and team for making such a great place to dance!
