Green P Parking

The parking lot was convenient but they have confusing prices listed on the web. The posted price on a searching engine was $15 for the day and they charged us $30. There is nowhere to file a complaint or anybody to talk to.

Right in the heart of the financial district..huge underground lot with multiple entrances. 5 min walk from the Fairmont Royal York hotel and Scotiabank Arena. Super busy area so traffic can be a pain at times

2023 April 4.5/5 - Machine on exit is REALLY SLOW, I now understand why the guy was waiting outside it back in October to process those exiting...besides that it is safe and setup well and well priced...only issue is the SLOOOOOOOOOOW machine to pay and exit that says to tap to get a receipt but does not register that you tapped multiple times...2022 October 11th within an hour before midnight: 4/5-convenient location, clean, seemingly safe, though lineup to get out was odd, guy at the gate was watching us at the actual gate go through, seemed suspect as if wanted to steal credit card numbers when we tapped to pay, not sure, just was odd...

Convenient location, however, the entrance to the parking lot can be confusing if Google Maps is telling you to enter from Front St.*Ideally you should be going south on University towards Front St to enter the parking lot.Day time rates are pretty expensive, but that’s normal for downtown parking. My only issue is that, if you enter before 5 pm, whether it’s 4:30 pm or 4:50 pm, you’ll be charged the day time rate for the rest of the evening, which can rack up pretty quick at $4.25/ half hour. I ended up paying $17 for 2 hours instead of $9 maximum for the evening.Also, not accessible. There are no elevators so you will want to keep that in mind if stairs are a concern for you.

Easy to find. Well lit. No one around though it could be because of COVID lockdown. And as an earlier commenter mentioned, need to request a receipt early in the process or you won’t get one at the machine.

As other reviews mentioned, the entrance can be a little tricky, so keep an eye out for the Green P symbol on the main street and when you turn left expect a road with less lanes and some foot traffic.Once in there's usually available spots, buy be prepared for the price.I parked for 2.5 hours between 2 pm and 5 and the total came to $21.I didn't see an option to pay with the Green P app so you'll have to pay for the paper ticket with credit.Also if you're looking to keep the paper as a receipt, take a picture after payment because you won't get it back when you pass it to the machine to exit.Finally, this lot looses a star because during rush hour (5pm +) you'll have to drive a little more aggressively to merge left or right.The exit comes out between two other lanes (one going left, the other going right) so you'll have to cut in line on the left, right, or straight ahead.

Getting to the entrance is tricky because of traffic and the fact that the ramp is in the middle of the street basically. So make sure you’re in the correct lane. But after that, should be fine. Lots of parking spots especially upstairs.

Very convenient location right at University and Front, a bit hidden as it is literally underneath University avenue but it has pretty good rates and usually has spaces, especially now in Covid times.
