Staff at the local store was ok but going through their customer service agents on the phone, even for their store employees, is a nightmare. It seems they became that way since it got bought out by Shaw. It's like Shaw intentionally understaff their phone lines. I literally spent hours trying to disconnect Shaw cable before. Frustrating. Their automated service by SMS messaging kept giving unrelated answers, and their human agent was not much better. I started shouting into the phone thinking they couldn't hear me and probably got some raised eyebrows from the people in the mall. I was thinking of getting an additional device but probably won't for that reason.

Connection in red deer is regularly poor, seems to be an overloaded network. Shouldn't take 5min to load a web page.

While I'm not necessarily a fan of Freedom Mobiles tech support on it's own, I absolutely love the staff at this location and their ability to help you as quickly as possible. I recently had a problem where I couldnt recieve incoming calls, and tech support told me to go the location despite my pleas that I would like to avoid going out if possible. Lisa, the manager and representative I spoke to, made sure that I was comfortable and that everyone was safe in the establishment, ensuring proper COVID-19 guidelines were followed. She escalated my response from tech support, and fought tooth and nail to get my phone fixed so I could recieve incoming calls again. When I set up my phone with Ryan, he was also a lovely person to speak to throughout the setup process and even got me signed up for some great home internet, which was a lot cheaper and easier than any other internet plan I've had. While my experience with the company itself hasn't been great, the employees here will do anything for you and are courteous, funny and enjoyable to interact with. Thank you Lisa and Ryan!

Zero customer service/satisfaction. I bought a phone from them and decided to return it after a few days and go with another provider. Ryan wont take the phone back because of a tiny scratch on the screen, no damage whatsoever..and it was their employee that removed the screen protector that comes with the phone, now am stuck with two phones! When I asked them why they removed the film without my consent, they tried to play defensive claiming that they had to remove it in order to set the phone up! They charged me the full price of the phone and cancelled my contract!

When I first signed up for Freedom mobile home internet I was beyond impressed. The enrollment process wad simple, easy and stress-free. I liked that I could view my bills and uWhen I first signed up for Freedom mobile home internet I was beyond impressed. The enrollment process wad simple, easy and stress-free. I liked that I could view my bills and usage at anytime and could easily make payments online. HOWEVER now that they have redesigned their website I no longer even have a home internet tab. My next due date is approaching I can not remember what I owe to save my life. My bills in my email ask me to sign in. Which is username, password, then email and email again to verify then get the code from the email enter that. Once you've done that you get in and NOTHING you can see nothing. The home internet only has chat support and I spent three hours in there and guess what they kept transferring me around deoartments telling me everything was good on freedoms end. Then at 2 hours and 57 mins, I'm told chat support can't help me and to go to a store. Of course no number you can call or anything. So I go to the store ....GUESS WHAT THE STORE SAYS!!! Get in touch with chat support. I would like to switch internet providers at this point. How many other people is this happening to ? Are we just going to have late bills because this business did an update that did harm to their side of things?FREEDOM!!! What the heck are you doing from your side? I'm at the point where I'm not only stressed about getting behind on my bills but embarrassed and no longer want to be a freedom customer but guess what can't access my bills or account info to cancel it either. Thanks freedom at this point I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if i dont. Cant even pull an acct number to pay through the bank because everything is missing from the app and website!!!!

We were given great customer service here every time we walked in for the past 6 months since my wife became a customer. I have since become a customer as well, though, I did order mine online. They will be helping me transition my parents to freedom mobile as well.So all in all, I'll be transferring 4 cell phones to them and everything has been great. I have no idea why this place has gotten a few 1-star reviews.

Lisa and her staff are fantastic. When i first got my phone it was from a dealer location in Calgary and it was a horrible experience. I went into see Lisa and her and the crew there were Friendly helpful and very customer oriented. Anyone who needs a new device go see them you will not be disappointed.

In the past have visited this Location, and could not recieve assistance due to unwelcoming worker at the store. This visit was amazing, completely my mind on this store and provider. Two female workers present, were quick, resourceful, polite, and handled my issues with care and professionalism. Previous visits left angry. Thank you to these workers I have faith in this store again!
