Early June weekend 2022. There is only parking spaces here on Bethesda Side Rd. but not on adjoining residential neighborhood. The onroad biking and walking trail close to house has not much tree canopy shades, Trails among the forest lands are good for hiking adventure and fun. But put on mosquito repellant first. Start the hiking trail at #37. There multiple paths for venture or the wide off-road bike lane. Take the off-road bike lane at #29. # 27 is the junction meeting Jefferson Forest Trail which might end at Bayview or Stouffville which has some roadside parking spaces but with heavy fast uphill and downhill traffic. There are more cross-country mountain bike suitable and hiking trails on the Jefferson Forest Trail, however. Assume 2 to 3 hours hike with drink, snack, cloth equipped along.

Great place to go for a hike or winter riding. There are a few hills, so spikes may be needed on the shoes and definitely needed on the bike throughout the winter months.

Love Jefferson Forest! There are easy and medium trails for hiking. As well, mtb in this forest is amazing and can give adrenaline on the difficult trails.

Walked part of the trail around the lake in early May, a busy Sunday morning. The trails were maze like, had to use an app to navigate. It was a nice sunny spring, everything was turning green. Liked the spring view and enjoyed the walk.
