I’ve always taught that if I have the education and skills needed, I can easily get any job. But I was wrong. CIWA through Bridging The Gap for Foreign Trained Accountants has taught me a lot of things that I wasn’t aware of. I can simply look back where I was before I joined BTG and where I am today, there’s a huge difference. I got job opportunities from my dream job just few weeks after this program, unbelievable! Thanks CIWA for ongoing supports especially for a newcomer like me.

Amazing experience, truly a game changer for me. CIWA helped me a lot and make my life much easier in Canada. Starting Bridging the Gap Program for foreign-trained professionals (BTG) is one of the best decisions of my life. Extremely professional and friendly staff. Our teachers and program coordinator were also very understanding and helpful. I'm glad that I am a part of CIWA.

CIWA provided valuable guidelines and support for our Canadian citizenship process, and everything worked out fine. Also, CIWA arranged tickets for Telus Spark Science Park and the Arts Commons Concert Hall for the whole family, and it was a great experience and opportunity. CIWA helped me to develop my self confidence and prepared me for the Canada job market. I enrolled in Career Services for Foreign Trained Professionals program for 6 month and I was able to secure a job within 15 days of completing my 3 months of classroom training and before even starting my practicum. They are every professional and dedicated towards their students. I highly recommend CIWA programs and their services as it is very helpful and worth.

The best choice I ever made is to join CIWA's CFSTP program, where I have learnt so much about Canadian work culture and most useful job hunting techniques. I want to highlight the work of the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association (CIWA) in the translation service, they are excellent!!!, they helped me with the translation of several documents that I required, they are very professional and the delivery was on time, especially the attention of Mrs. Viviana Velasco, who guided me throughout the process, her customer service is excellent!, she is very clear and precise in her indications, as well as the attention of Mrs. Angela who is in the same place. Thank you for having this service for new immigrants and in general for all the inhabitants of the city of Calgary, it is of great help to overcome the language barriers between countries and to be able to comply 100% with the requirements of a certified translation.

Very bad experience. Rather than motivating they demotivate you and possess a pessimistic approach about your needs. I was not encouraged to avail the benefits just because of my temporary situation. I would not like to mention the name, but the services and approach towards Customers is not positive. They have an intricate and complex approach towards you.
